  great news!.

  we are free!.

  as of the 9th of june, me and my dear wife mrs. eden handed over our letters of disassociation at bethel in portugal, thus making official our departure from the jehovah's witnesses.

  Has the Australian Royal Commision been shown the 2016 convention videos?

  wonder if the arc have seen the series of videos being shown at the 2016 convention?.

  part of their questioning was about the societies treatment of those who want to leave without prejudice or shunning from family.

  for example, the way the parents kicked out the daughter, and refused to answer a phone call from her.... also they used the expression "a captive organisation",which jackson denied.. what about the paranoia and fear tactics used in the "bunker / basement" series?

  That sounds like a good idea stuckinarut2 ,, not that I am capable of doing it myself .

  However , I am capable of sending Angus Stewart an e-mail informing him of the relevant videos shown at the 2016 Conventions for him to view .

  I would encourage everybody to contact the ARC ,or any member of the committee with your feedback about the JW Convention

  it's interesting to observe that in all aspects of life, leaders are accountable to those they lead.. politicians must fulfil their promises, or they are replaced from government.. business corporate leaders like ceos must perform, or they are replaced.. sports coaches and trainers must win, or they are replaced.. yet there are leaders who have often been wrong, have made serious ,mistakes and failed predictions that have impacted the lives of millions.. they have dictated decisions for the lives of millions, yet they can't even be questioned...even in a sincere or polite manner..

  What does that say about Jehovah God ? Christ Jesus ? They should be sacked also , as incompetents for not getting the stated results from those under their charge.

  Can awake jw find a way of getting to know each other in real life

  Their going to have a Bible museum ? When I first joined they were using the American Standard Version as opposed to the King James version , then they acquired the Byington`s bible , and then the King James Bible..

  While producing the books of the Hebrew Scripture before producing the individual books of the Christian Greek Scriptures

  It`s certainly not going to win any friends in real Bible Scholarship.

  It will only , and that is the intent, of blinding the minds of the believers.

  Oh and another thing , they have an observation tower ? over the complex ?

  happy birthday.

  just finished a walk today i came onto a happy family group of all the generations celebrating a tiny ones birthday.

  they all sang ..happy birthday and i sang with my bass baritone the chorus, .."why was she born so beautiful why was she born at all.." silly words but they are happy words.

  the family cheered their pleasure at this outsider joining in.

  I feel frustrated

  hello all, things for the most part have been somewhat better for me because my parents haven't talked about baptism or anything recently.

  i got a scholarship to go to art camp for a few weeks which has been fun (since its free, my parents didn't refuse) but it has also been very nervewracking for me.

  i haven't been around any non jws for more than a year and its like being in a different world, a world where people are actually real and genuine and not mindless drones.

  Don`t play the "victim" card with your school friends they can`t grasp the JW mentality/outlook on things just be as "normal" as you can be with them , interact with them and join in as far as your conscience will allow .

  And whatever you do , don`t even bring up JW stuff with them.

  sorry i thought it was a new morning worship video but it is 6 months old and has already been discussed on here..  it is presented by gb helper k flodin and about this generation.

  the delusion and hypocrisy runs deep.. he reminds the cult members not to speculate because they aren't supposed to know the day or the hour.

  No wonder their is no urgency to the preaching work nowadays. What ? the young ones can now party and dilly dally for years before they get serious and come back to Jehovah in the few years before 2040.

  They can enjoy both worlds now.

  How the rank and file ( the average Jehovah`s Witness ) can not see the Governing Body to continually dangle the carrot stick (Armageddon, New World , Paradise ,Great Tribulation ) in front of their members for over 130 years beggars belief , with their continual changes to their beliefs with the excuse of "New Light" from Jehovah

  In other words the "old light" was false

  you don`t have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out.surely.

  that`s sad "eyes" So here goes , my 2 cents worth :

  You still have contact with JW`s to be able to say those things to them ? and they still talk to you ?

  Every little bit helps anyway, you never know when a seed will sprout and they eventually learn TTATT

  I know what it`s like to post something and nobody responds LOL
