  The Ten Commandments in stone / the Golden Calf in gold.....,Pose a problem for GOD?

  in exodus 32 aaron made a golden calf at the jews request from the gold jewelry they had in their possession .. did they use more common sense / ability than jehovah ?.

  problem 1 .would the egyptians have allowed them to flee with their valuable possessions ?

  ( side point ).

  Almighty God Jehovah ,who was described by the WT many years ago as the ultimate chemist ,wrote the ten commandments on two tablets of stone ? Something that could be so easily destroyed ?

  He didn`t learn from his mistake he had Moses do the same thing.And it went off into destruction also

  Problem 2 .He didn`t think to use his chemistry knowledge to form some alloy that would be indestructible ?

  That would last indefinitely throughout time ? After all GOD did write it himself right ?

  It would seem mere humans were way ahead of their creator in thinking ability here.

  i heard today about a former jw/now apostate who is dying in hospital.

  this information was accompanied by the comment of "wouldn't be awful to be lying there in hospital,dying as an apostate!

  How awful it really is still living ? as a Jehovah`s Witness .

  What with all these back-flips , flip flops ,nu-lite , old-lite ,rules & regulations not found in the Bible ,counting hours ,worshiping the new golden calf JW.ORG ,if Christians are worshiping the cross as a symbol of their religion then so are JW`s.

  Maybe the victims , in these circumstances should make a civil complaint to the police about the Elders who never reported the case and have them charged with being an accessory after the fact So far no Elder`s have ever been accountable to the law for failing to do so

  People named after Jesus ? / people named after Jehovah /Yahweh ?

  i have only come across one , in america of all places.. his name was yahweh ben yahweh , and i don`t think he would be used as an example by the wt society.. google him.. has their been anybody else ?

  Making a vow like this to a Religious institution , surely has no legal obligations that could be enforced in a court of law .

  Correct me if I am wrong.

  I made a vow /a pledge when I was a pre-teen to a Congregationalist Church , not to drink , smoke , and to live a moral life from then on.

  I`m pretty sure they can`t take me to court and sue me now ,(can they ? ) LOL

  carla , their was something recently about that ,the word order ,and it`s legit. I was surprised also to know that.

  Stop nit-picking , you know Jehovah`s heavenly forces used the Roman army to destroy Jerusalem and he will do so at Armageddon. (not the Roman army of course) or is it the earthly forces that cause the heavenly forces to act .

  We will have to wait for nu-lite.

  What I want to know is , whose face is that tied around his waistcoat ? ( Subliminal image ? )

  Also, with the obvious problem Jehovah`s earthly organization, the WTB&TS , has with beards , how is it that the Heavenly organization from Jehovah God down , are all depicted with beards in all of their illustrations.?

  Won`t the shunning videos be aired on JW.Org TV ? for any who have missed the conventions for one reason or another ? Illness , hospital stay for instance ?

  Encourage them to watch that .

  Trying to reason with a Jehovah`s Witness is like talking to a brick wall .

  Reminds me of my Orthodox Jewish friend over in Israel praying at the "wailing wall" .

  Bobbing his head in prayer at the wall as they do , praying for peace among the Palestinians and the Jews ,for seven straight days .

  I asked him how it went , no bloody good he replied , it was just like talking to a brick wall .

  why in this 21st century are we still cow towing to religions that are based in the distant past, of thousands of years ago , whether it be christian islam or whatever.?

  and not to restrict it to just those two , but all ancient religions.. all of them are hypocritical , on the one hand rejecting modern day society and it`s technology and on the other hand embracing it for their own advantage .. when is the human race ever going to rid itself of pie in the sky beliefs.?.
