You haven`t thought this through looter ,all of Adam and Eve`s offspring have a direct line of descent ,whereas your analogy does not fit that scenario .

like i would like this to make since but why would jehovah do this to future humans who have done nothing wrong at all?
i think of it like if a parent has one child and that child really disobeyed her before then when the parent has a second child, she punishes that child because of what her first did.

List of "pagan" things JW's allow
by problemaddict 2 inwhat i'm looking for specifically is things that are "pagan" in the sense they predate christianity (or i guess judiasm to cover the ole mosaic code), that jw's allow or do.
the ones that come to mind are below.. rings - rings seem to originate in egypt.
for wedding ceremonies it became a symbol of "ownership" in rome.. pinatas - looks like possibly it originated in china as a part of the new year and a request for luck, and catholics later turned it into a beating of temptation type thing.. anything else?.

Just to clarify my friend ,Jw`s never believed the earth /universe was created in 6 days of 7000 years (42000 years ) ago .
When I joined in 1960 , they taught the universe / earth could have been around for millions of years.
The 7000 years for a day only applied to when Jehovah decided to make the Earth as a place for humans to live on.
Gen 1:1 Could be applied to millions of years ago
Gen 1:2 applies to when Jehovah God turned his attention to the Earth to put humans on it.
That is the official WT teaching .(back then anyway )
Of course that means that humanity has only existed for no more than 6000 years , along with animals ,vegetation ,etc, which is absurd , and not supported by academics in their relative fields.

If the Hebrew Scriptures ,Old Testament is not relevant for Christians , that is , it`s outdated and not relevant in our day for Christians why is it even a part of the Christian Bible?
Almighty GOD inspired the Old Testament and gave his laws on everyday issues religious and social ,,to reject that either means GOD was wrong or he has had a change of heart .
However the Bible states that GOD is the same today as he was yesterday and will be the same tomorrow , in other words he never changes. And he certainly can`t be wrong.
Jesus Christ accepted and worshiped the GOD of the Old Testament and instructed his followers to do so also .The GOD of the Old Testament and the God of the New Testament do not gel.together.
Jesus said you only have to observe two commandments , so God burdened the Jews with eight other commandments that was not needed ,along with a multitude of other laws and requirements.
Why am I here ? to learn , to see others point of view ,and to discuss issues that are brought up about religion and specifically JW teachings.

by oppostate in(ks10 p11:1) revelation 1:20 depicts jesus as holding the anointed elders in his right hand, thus, by extension, indicating that he controls all bodies of elders for the purpose of accomplishing jehovah’s will.

The illustrations in JW publications showing the Anointed in heaven as all having beards ,so I guess that`s something the Anointed sisters can look forward to .
I always wondered how the Anointed , male or female never had a part in congregational matters , yet they will rule with J.C.in heaven .

Anti-religion T-Shirt idea

something that says "religion is crap, i don't care which one".. i was thinking of adapting the "coexist" one to say "toxic" instead which is great because it removes 'science' but includes all the major world religions.. anyone else have any ideas?.

Is it not a criminal offence to know about a crime and not report it to the police / Law /authorities ?
If so , how , have at least 3018 Elders in Australia not been prosecuted for not reporting these crimes against children ? These past decades ?
I for one propose writing to the Australian newspapers a letter to the editor where you can voice your opinion on this matter.
If you are genuine about the Elders withholding this information of child abuse from the law enforcement authorities /police then please , contact the media in Australia with your concern , because it is only with media expose that anything constructive is ever done.
The Herald Sun , The AGE , The Sydney morning Herald ,The Courier Mail , The Advertiser ,to name a few .
The more people that respond to this the more action that can take place , the more impact we have .
Of course if everybody ignores it , then how genuine really are you in protecting youth in the JW religion against abuse .
You do not have to be a resident of Australia to voice your concern , so please do so .

Almighty God Jehovah ,who was described by the WT many years ago as the ultimate chemist ,wrote the ten commandments on two tablets of stone ? Something that could be so easily destroyed ?
He didn`t learn from his mistake he had Moses do the same thing.And it went off into destruction also
Problem 2 .He didn`t think to use his chemistry knowledge to form some alloy that would be indestructible ?
That would last indefinitely throughout time ? After all GOD did write it himself right ?
It would seem mere humans were way ahead of their creator in thinking ability here.
