Spanish Forum is being shut down

apparently the spanish forum, extj.com, is being shut down coming december.it's pretty sad.

there is still so much work to do to help people in latin america and spain come out of this cult!.

The Debate Is Over...

for years theologians and historians have researched who the historical person known as jesus was and how much of the biblical account could be verified.

countless books have been written going into great detail.

this has been a controversial subject with some even claiming that jesus never existed.

When its all boiled down Jesus never really said much at all .

He never wrote anything down at all

He is supposed to have died for all mankind , yet he never spoke to all mankind , only the Jews.

Mainly , what he has supposedly accomplished comes from second and third hand witnesses.

He lived for 33 years but only preached for 3 of those years

He is spoken of as the greater Moses , however , he doesnt come within cooee of what Moses accomplished in his life.

He is qouted as an authority on marriage , children ,and women , yet he never experienced living with a woman / sex , or having children.

Attending a same-sex wedding

my cousin, whom is not jw, but we have grown up together our whole lives has just gotten engaged to her same sex partner, i am very conflicted on wether i can/should attend the wedding or not.

i am very close with my cousin and her partner and they are very understanding to our beliefs and differences as she grew up with our whole family being jw.

some family members have already said they will definitely be attending and some definitely not attending so i just want some extra advice and guidance!

sam your 19 , baptised and living at home with your parents ? sorry to say ,but if you attended this same sex marriage ,you would definetely be hauled into the back room with the Elders and eventually DF,unless you bow down ,kiss their ass and plead ignorance in which case you might only be put on probation for a year or two .,or whatever they now call it for the next 12 months

Jehovahs Witness Elders , not all, as is evidenced by this forum , but by far , the most majority seem to glee , finding fault with their brothers and sisters and bringing them up before a JC. and either reproving them or DF them from the congregation.

Some Elders seem to see the need to validate their position as Elder , by bringing the chopping block down on their fellow brothers or sisters and disfellowshipping them from the Congregation.,and subsequent shunning that follows.

In Jehovah`s witness theology , their is a BIG LORD , JEHOVAH , and a little lord , jesus christ.

However in scripture we find Jesus Christ is Lord of Lords and King of Kings.,,,,{not Jehovah }

Ph.2:10 In the name of jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father.

The verse preceding that states that the name of jesus is above any other nane , God exultated him and gave him a superipor position .

The Christian Greek scriptures / New Testament are unanimous in saying christians are to be witneses of JC , at least 30 such scriptures, their is not one scripture in the New Testament that authorises christians to be witnesses of Jehovah

i discovered your website this morning as i was trying to find some information about 'marking'.

you see a very close friend of mine was 'marked' earlier this week and as i know the ins and outs of the situation (as we are close friends) i disregarded the talk immediately as i know my friend is obviously having issues but is no way a 'danger' to anybody else's spiritual health.

basically they are dating a non-believer- hence the talk.

Hi , danni Jackson , I hope thats not your real name as you will be outed for coming onto a site like this and heaved into a JC hearing before you can say "What did I do wrong ?"

However ,Welcome to you for coming here and hopefully you will stick around as their are some very interesting discussions that take place here with valuable information from some very learned friends and in my case not so learned .

First lesson learned is :,The love JW`s show is conditional love ,it only lasts while you show interest in the JW religion , and if you are baptised and fall away ,or even start questioning the Elders or the GB or the F&DS ,you will be dropped like a hot potato, and shunned

Tread carefully my friend ,and take care.

Is Watchtower now loosening the bedroom rules?

i was at my assembly when this was discussed last week.

of course i hadn't prepared and i heard "no rules about limits", or at least i thought i did.. here's the direct quote from the watchtower study article.. "although the bible does not provide specific rules about the kinds and limits of love play that might be associated with natural sexual intimacy, it mentions displays of affection.

the watchtower (study edition) august 2016 : making christian marriage a success, paragraph 8.. what say you?.

Today I Dropped In To Field Service Meeting

i just dropped my daughter off to her mum at her parents house.

it was 12pm and i knew they meet for feild service there but my ex and i assumed they would still be out knocking on doors.

i pull up in the street and there's quite a few cars parked up and the house was backed with jdubs from my old congregation.

Well done p.e., my mind just boggles at Jw reasoning on shunning and their hateful practice toward another human being.,thinking thats going to bring them back to the religion , its just crazy thinking.

I appreciate you are a newbie on this forum Sam..... i`m not sure whether you are aware that this is primarily an ex JW site ,however we certainly welcome anybody else who comes here

So let me be one who does welcome you with no conditions attached.

Depending on your involvement with JW`s , their are many things that need to be considered .

Are you baptised ? Are you young and still under your parents control ?

Are you still in the religion because of family /friends ?

If you are an adult who can make your own decisions why would you give that up to another person to make a decision for you ?

If you are still a practicing JW and attend a gay marriage by a celebrant then you can expect the full force of the JC to come down on you. for attending.

If you dont give a stuff what the JW`s say or do then by all means go and support your cousin , you say you are very close to your cousin , keep that realationship together , because the relationships of JW`s are very conditional
