thought i'd give you an account of my latest family dysfunction.. a brief backstory is that i am an only child whose parents were born in jw's.
That was a terrible experience you went through 3rdgen .Very sad to have to go through something like that with your mother and other members of the family.
And the witnesses love to spout off how they are family orientated and have love for each other and their fellow man/woman.

isnt this plainly stating that christians should be supporting and playing along with the governments of this sytem of things ?

So on the one hand Jehovah God / Christ Jesus are telling us that the ruler of the world is Satan the Devil and then on the other hand we are to be obedient to Satans system of things approved by Jehovah .?

the earliest wt annual service report i've found was in the january 1, 1948 issue for the 1947 service year.
was this the first annual report?

ok guys, i have been tasked to ask for your opinions regarding this case.. and be honest.
my brother sexted a girl a little over a year ago, they never dated, and she got mad at him.... she got engaged and the engagement ended in august.. she attempted suicide, then talked to the elders an told him she was gonna tell on him too, now that was in august, the sister told my brother that since she didn't know his hall they couldn't do anything.. we found that doesn't seem right, so hes been freaking out, but ita now two days away from 2017 and the elders haven't speaked to him yet.. why could that be?
could they give him all this time to confess?
whether they be norwegian ,danish ,french or whatever , having sub-titles doesnt bother us as their usually is a mix of english dialogue as well.. some examples : tracked ,the tunnell ,the bridge ,dicte ,borgen ,just to name a few.another one i`m watching now about the middle east the name just escapes right now .. anybody else watching these shows ?.

I was looking at the videos to see who I knew on this quick build .I knew a few in the building game ,builders plasterers ,Painters ,and Tilers ,all brothers all self empolyed
And they were all from one area in S.E.Qld Aust.
I knew of garth Irwin as he gave talks in our Cong. as did his bother Dale Irwin ,both have passed away now.
I personally knew Eric Walker interviewed in the 3rd video as he was in the same congrgation as me and my son was friends with his son.
Eric and his wife suffered a tragic accident with their young baby daughter that no couple should have to endure.
Eric was often critical of the organization to me anyway ,for not doing enough to encourage the youth / teenagers in the congregation ,to keep them from the temptations to leave.
The grainy production made it hard to identify anybody else in the video positively.
I guess this thread would only interest Australians ,if at all .
