we just had a city worker come a knocking on our front door and my responce after she left was, she should go down to the local kingdom haul and give lessons.
her knock was so loud, she could raise the dead.
I used to use a coin to knock on the doors ,that way you didnt have to knock very hard
I reasoned if I had to go through the stress of going out and the effort to do so I may as well talk to as many people as I could.
At the same time relieved if no one answered the door.
I think I had a problem

supposedly, the reason jw's are not allowed to vote is because they must not be a part of this world.
Romans Ch.13 says that "Every soul should be in subjection to the Superiour authorities ,for their is no authority except by God.the existing authorities stand placed in their relative positions by God.
So jehovahs witnesses could in all conscience vote if they chose to do so ( Oh yeah ? really ? )
2 Cor.4:4 The god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers (obviously not Jehovah )
and apparently satan.
Isnt that a contradiction ?
Is Jehovah God in charge of the Superiour authorities or is satan in charge of the superiour authorities or to put it another way who is the God of this system of things ?

When i was a JW , definetely not under any circumstances .
As an ex JW definitely , under any and all circumstances. .
I may be wrong in my thinking here but those ex JW`s who still have doubts about accepting blood as a medical procedure could still be influenced by the WT reasoning for refusing blood.
They are /could still be Captives Of A Concept.
However the fact that the WT has never got anything right these past 100+ years and that no other religion especially the Jewish religion agrees with the WT interpretation of the said scriptures ,thats good enough for me.
Having said that I appreciate their are others (JW`s & non JW`s ) who do not want their body contaminated with someone elses blood for whatever reasons., and that is their perogative.
i have, for about 6 months now, been trying to watch every single movie that was "cool" or interesting since 1960.it started out with a desire to watch as an adult all disney movies.
then it morphed into all bond movies (except for the non-canonicals).now it's turned into pretty much any and all movies.
here is my list, scratched out are ones i have seen, green are recent next-in line.turns out there was a lot i had never seen before, about 70% because of the cult restrictions!
I ,L,TTATT2 ,I think you have too much time on your hands ? LOL how can you binge on so many movies in such a short time ? I hope I`m not being insensitive here .
Has Ordinary People been suggested to you ?with Donald Sutherland and Mary Tyler Moore ? she was excellent in that movie .Acadamy award performance if ever I saw one.

Jehovahs Witnesses are parasites on society , exploit everything the Government offers and gives NOTHING back in return .,take ,take.take.is what they practice .
I knew of brothers who accepted the dole from the Govt.without looking for work and happily pioneered .
was there anything positive about your jehovah's witness experience?.
Add to my previous post I also learnt the difference between true friendships , aquaintances , and false friends.
Their are POSITIVELY no true friendships in the JW religion.

i address this post to guys, however, given my own reluctance to go to the doctor.
I was getting up every hour on the hour during the night to go to the toilet getting up in the morning exhausted from lack of sleep went to the doctors for the" finger" test and was told I had an enlarged postrate and opted for "Duodart" capsules which relieved the symptoms 100% and now I get a good nights sleep
Whatever you do dont be embarrased by the" finger" test , the lady doctor asked me if I had a problem with her doing the test ,I said I dont if you dont ,her reply was if she had a problem with it then she should find another occupation.
