by Simon inas i announced some time ago, jwd as it is will not continue .... ... but .... it's clear from people's comments that they do like the site and many would like it or something else like it to continue.. one issue was the forum software that was self-developed and not really in a good state to hand-over to anyone but i've been working on that and can now reveal the first release of what will probably be called jwn (son of jwd):.

it is still work-in-progress so not all features are enabled yet but it will allow you to browse the site in a similar way to this one and it is pointing at the same database (although because of the way the caching works, new posts made on this site won't appear immediately).

Blood Issue took my mom last night
by rwagoner inafter years of fighting a physical disability that ended in kidney failure and several bouts of respiratory/cardiac arrestmy mom landed in the hospital last week.
the doc's said she needed heart surgery and kidney transplants but before they could operate they need to get her blood count back up.
it had fallen well below what her body could naturally restore on its own she she needed transfusions.

Self deception,rationaliziing,pride,not wanting to be seen as a fool,beleiving what you WANT to beleive,even having your ears tickled,spending so much time and energy in the "truth",WANTING to beleive that it is indeed the "truth" all these things added to the years you spent in the org.,you quite easily keep perpetuating the lie.From the time I came in till the time I left was 33 years.It was a gradual leaving probably over a couple of years,little niggly things that were not quite right,but you couldn`t put your finger on it ,and then the penny drops!!Initially maybe things aren`t going right in your life,your looking for some answers,JW`s come along and solve all your problems with "Gods Kingdom" YOU BELEIVE BECAUSE YOU WANT TO BELEIVE, it solves all your problems.The GB members are still in a state of DENIAL as we were when we rejected critisisms of the organization.Or then again it may be true as Carl Sagan said "They are shamelessly dishonest"

If I remember correctly the WTB&TS had segregated congregations. ( All blacks or all whites ) Where blacks did attend white congregations they were segregated.Certainly in the 60`s and prior to that.Of course they would say they were being obedient to the law of the land.

John 6:68 :...Jesus had just asked peter if he wanted to follow someone else...:Peter answered ...Lord {WHOM} ...(not where) ... shall we go to? YOU have sayings of everlasting life....Peter was acknowledging that their is NOWHERE ELSE TO, GO TO BUT THE CHRIST . Peter knew there was nowhere else to go because JESUS had "sayings of everlasting life"...He does not say Lord{ WHERE}(not whom) shall we go away to? THE WATCHTOWER SOCIETY has sayings of everlasting life. IN a nutshell Witnesses have been led to beleive that there is nowhere else to go, to worship God apart from the Watchtower Society They change Peter`s words from referring to the PERSON of Jesus Christ to the ORGANIZATION of the watchtower society. How dishonest is that ?

A typical WTB&TS spin : Some of jesus disciples were stumbled at his teachings.and they left off following him . true (but jesus teachings were not wrong ) {Their problem }. However many former Jehovah`s witnesses have left following the so called "faithfull & discreet slave" class simply because THEIR TEACHINGS HAVE BEEN WRONG:.A big difference.: { The WTB&TS problem } also true

Very interesting,....just another example of wtb&ts deception of what trinitarians ( and others) actually beleive....Yet this subject and comments raised ,highlights to me the complexity of the bible itself. I was taught that the bible was meant for the "average" person,it was not that hard to understand..,and it interpreted itself, Nothing is more further from the truth.Does not the bible say "Do not put your trust in earthling man whom no salvation belongs?"Ps.146:3 Yet to understand the bible`s intricasies,ambiguities,double-tripple-whammie-meanings,we have to rely on "man" to explain to us what the God of the bible,who is the supreme intelligence of the universe and creator of all ,couldn`t dictate (to a man) in plain english(hebrew-aramaic or Koine) what he simply meant.I`ll gaurantee that the average jw would not have a clue about the differences in trinitararian beleifs.

...many of these were multiple offences,and what about the many Ms`s that have been charged over the years,not to mention the R&F publishers.Compare the numbers of catholics with the small sect of JW`s the abuse in the witnesses is staggering,( A few years ago I was called up for jury duty in Brisbane district court,the only case I was selected on was a child sex abuse case from the Atherton Tablelands)What was the odds on that?
