  Does the Watchtower contain photo's of the Devil

  i have not been able to find any photo's of satan the devil in the watchtower.

  there are photo's of the serpent with eve, satan's hand offering kingdoms to jesus and a shadowy cloaked figure speaking to jesus on the mountain.

  apart from that i cannot locate any of a proper looking devil.

  Doesn`t the bible somewhere say that the devil transforms himself into an angel of light ? 2 Cor.11:14 And who keeps getting this new light every few years ? Enough said !!

  Oompa update

  i don't post much, so most of you don't know me.

  i live in nc near oompa, and he has become a good friend with my wife and i over the last few years.. so as an update, my wife visited oompa today!

  he's recovering, but has a long recovery to go.

  strange comment from elder at the meeting today

  todays watchtower was especially nauseating but during the study one of them made the comment concerning the big a " jehovahs timetable is not contingent on all nations being saturated by the good news".

  the study conductor reafirmed his point and then continued.. wait a fuggin minute!

  there are 1.4 billion chinese on the earth and only 40 million profess christianity.

  Another 144,000 Question

  okay, based on my reading, you're clearly better off being one of the 144,000. first, you get to reside in heaven, while everyone else is consigned to living on earth.

  second, a spirit (in wts eschatology) is much better than being a flesh and bone human.

  they can fly, read in a darkened room and they get to be with god for eternity.. but what of everyone else?

  A thought just occured to me ,did angels have free will? What was the test the angels had to undergo???What was the penalty for angels who failed the test ?? If you compare the horrendous outcome for humans, compared to the angelic species, their is no comparison!!! So then who is going to rule with Christ over mankind??Imperfect human beings?? 144000 ??So who do you think would be more authourised to do so ??Angels???

  When I was new in the "truth" I was working with a P.O. and came to an establishment who he said was a religious offshoot of jehovah`s witnesses,the" Beroean Bible Institute",this was in Melbourne .Vic.Australia,about 1960`s (around the kew area if I remember right)
