my mother-in-law was hounding my husband the other day about our spiritual standing.
conversation led to "the light gets brighter".
he said if that is the case then maybe the light gets brighter for other religions as well.
With the light getting brighter,and brighter for these past 132 years ( 1879 W.T ) Every man woman and child should never go outside without a welding mask on to protect them from the glare from such BRIGHTNESS ,if it keeps on getting any brighter we will be a sun in our own right

I`m a little bit more disappointed in the fact that someone you dont know, persnally , but knows someone you know, who is still an active witness and then blabs to them, your on this site.(After establishing contact with you via a pm ) then having no more contact with you after their"judas" trait

as some of you know, i was disfellowshipped six years ago, but it wasn't until june 2010 that i made up my mind never to return to the wts.
I think the best indication is the fact he never tried to contact you when you first reached out to him.We had a similar experience with a family we grew in the "truth" together and they shunned us,on my wifes second contact. ( and religion was not even mentioned ) Forget about him and move on with your life .Their not worth it

well since there is no "betting" (as it reeks of gambling) in jdub land, lets place a friendly wager on what will happen to me when i go to my father's "memorial" service at the kingdome hall this saturday..... to give you newbies background info: i am neither df'd or da'd- i left 2 years ago with no explanation.
i have been hounded by elders in my cong because they have suspicions that i am living with a man, but they have no proof (well, no proof in jdub land- you know...two witness rule).
after many attempts to get me to meet with them- i finally sent the elders a "cease & desist" letter after one of them spied in my miniblinds to see me eating breakfast with someone (they couldn't identify who).

over the last couple of years, i have done a lot of reading, and rather than answering my questions, it has made me think even more - particularly about god and the bible.. when i was kicked out of the wtbts, it was because of my personal belief in jesus.
People beleive what they want to beleive,so dont confuse me with facts

hi- i just wanted to say that i have been checking the website out for a few weeks and have read some horror stories and some sad ones.
but i have been studying with witnessess for about six months and can't help but feel that they're completely sincere and maybe even, the true religion.
i love the watchtower and awake and to me, none of that seems crazy.

If you want to stop thinking for yourself ,have a small body of men in america dictate what you beleive ,how you should dress, who you should associate with, what entertainment you should watch , what you should read , what kind of sex life you should lead ,keep getting changed interpretations of bible prophecys,some backtracking on each other , then by all means become a Jehovah`s Witness if you do that then I`m sorry I have no pity on you,you deserve what you get. Read " Captives of a Concept " before you go any further
