  i heard my hard out jw sister say that for the 1st time in many years and i'm hearing more and more jw's saying that.

  years ago when i was in they talked about the new system coming any minute..

  This system of things cant last more than five years . Told to me every few years from the early 1960`s.

  I didn`t leave till 1993 ,I`m a slow learner.

  many here have asked how the average witness in australia is taking the news of the arc findings and conclusions.. is it affecting them?.

  sorry to say, hardly any are even aware of the facts.

  those that are, have been convinced that all the publicity is "apostate lies and satanic propaganda".

  How many Australian Newspapers have reported this report by the ARC ? about the Jehovahs Witness religion ?

  It has not been reported as far as I know by the Herald Sun a victorian newspaper,

  I believe it has been reported by the Australian newspaper that does get national coverage.only limited.

  And I believe it has been reported by the Sydney Morning Herald a NSW newspaper

  I have not seen anything on ABC Television news that I generally watch , along with other TV stations and nothing has been forthcoming. And I flick around the channells

  How do we get Australian newspapers /TV news ,videos ,documentarys etc. to get our message across..

  Konceptual99 has hit the nail on the head apart from a couple of points.The 2 witness rule is a Bible based requirement according to JW doctrine for so long , I dont see how they will get around this one.

  The mandatory reporting in all states is one the JW`s would accept in a heatbeat because it takes the onus of responsibility off them.

  Never mind that in 50 years 3018 Elders never contacted the police or child protection services while they presided over child sex abuse cases in their congregations.

  Possibly a law will be enacted to ensure more JW`s will have to undergo WWCC ,Elders and MS.

  We will have to wait and see what happens in March 2017 when JW`s are adressed again .

  Thanks guys for setting me straight about the Washington Post and its good to see the story has been picked up elsewhere

  If we made a comparison of the JW `s and the RCC how ,would the JW`s fare ?

  The Catholics have over 1 billion members and have had a big prtoblem with child sex abuse.

  The Jehovahs Witnesses have over 8 million members and they have a big problem with child sex abuse .

  Has anybody ever done a comparison here between these two ?

  I sometimes think the R.C.Church has been dealt a raw deal here simply because they are such a large religion ,however religions such as the Jehovahs Witnesses escape the spotlight simply because they are a small sect

  IN fact maybe they are just as bad or even worse offenders if we look at the ratios.

  I`ll be very interested in how they will put a spin on the 2 witness rule, a God given direction plainly stated in the Bible.

  They love to point out that they are a Bible based religion that they alone follow ,how will they get around that one.?

  Will they ,can they drop it ?

  Listener , you say Vin Toole has been challenged for his testimony in violation of NSW law ? am I correct ?

  despite my often smart-ass exterior, i really don't have any desire to see the r&f dubs suffering.

  i really do worry about the mental and emotional turmoil that they will experience, if and when the wtbts is truly exposed as a scam.

  i know it seems unlikely to happen, but you never know..... anyway, the wt for the week was cringe-worthy to say the least.

  And dont all the other heavenly bodies in our solar system hang apon nothing ? The other 8 planets ?

  Doesnt our moon and the many moons that revolve around all of the other planets ,in our Solar System dont they hang apon nothing ?

  What does this statement suppose to prove ?

  The earth is no different from any other planet in this Solar system as respects hanging upon nothing than any other planet in this solar system or planets found in other solar systems in the universe.

  it's great that the following is officially mentioned in the royal commission's report:.

  when asked if the governing body members saw themselves as ‘jehovah god’s spokespeople on earth’, mr geoffrey jackson answered that it ‘would seem to be quite presumptuous to say that we are the only spokesperson that god is using’.

  mr jackson’s response seems to be inconsistent with the documentary evidence before the royal commission, which shows that jehovah’s witnesses believe that the governing body is the ‘channel’ by which jehovah’s ‘will’ is communicated to them..

  G.Jackson was trying to use theocratic warfare tactics which didnt quite work on Angus Stewart .

  Surely the statements the GB /JW put in print such as the official magazine the Watchtower and their many published books ,tracts,pamphlets etc. would someday catch up with them ?

  Inconsitentcy is the only consistent thing Jehovahs Witnesses publish or preach.

  This is good news barbara ,how is the Washington Post Newspaper regarded in mainstream america?

  Is it widely distributed ,read by many americans across the country ?

  Are their articles syndicated through other newspapers throughout the country ?

  It would be great if all the above were true , this exposure of the JW religion in Australia does need to be made known as widely as possible in all parts of the world if at all possible.

  Hopefully our friends here on this board can make that happen through social media.
