i feel pretty foolish after reading the drivel in today's wt.
here i was operating under the impression that showing kindness to strangers was something that one did unselfishly.
boy was i wrong!
Do you notice that the WT actually have to tell people to be welcoming and loving even when it is to their own KH ?

The JW religion sucks the natural affection / the soul out of their members.and they become robots obeying every dictate that comes from JW.ORG losing all their individuality that Jehovah gave them with a brain they were supposed to use for themselves.
at a 3-day convention in nairobi, kenya this week 12-2-16 through 12-4-16, they had 70,000+ attendance, and there were 792 baptized (i presume the baptism was yesterday).
i was amazed to hear this; i guess now we know where the wt's growth is coming from..
Kenya was one of the Country`s that was held up as an example of phenomenal growth over 30 years ago in the yearbook .
And it is still attracting such growth ?
I`m amazed that the country isn`t Gods established Kingdom on Earth a true Theocracy., surely there shouldnt be a worldly person living their now.

I knew a sister who was convinced she was being sexually abused by the Demons , thats what she told the Elders.
And one of the Elders was convinced this was true.
the issue of whether or not the elders have a duty to report is clear cut in canada.
this will make it impossible for the wts to wriggle out of the wrongs that have been exposed in quebec recently.
the elders in those situations have received their instructions from the wts lawyers and they have been advised wrongly.. for several years (can't remember when this was made law...years back), it has been mandatory for everyone in canada to report suspected cases of child abuse, which, naturally, include the sexual abuse of minors.
Mandatoy reporting in all Australian states of child sexual and other abuse would make life easier for the WTB&TS /Jehovahs Witnesses, Elders if and when it becomes law .
In the meantime up until this year 2016 no such law has existed in all states of Australia. So for the past 100 + years in most states of Australia it is possible that child sexual abuse has been carried on in Jehavahs Witness congregations and been handled by Elders who have not gone to the relevant authorities but conducted in-house with the judicial committee of three male Elders.
I wonder how many more victims are out their that have gone un detected and no one can speak up for them .
having been a jw for decades i'm used to watching what i do, say, or watch, in fear of being snitched on.. therefore, i the question begs.. there have been instances, i won't say how, where i've felt some members are being deliberate in their attempt to feign support for the anti-jw rhetoric on this forum.. any input is greatly appreciated..
People from all around the world post here ,all with similar experiences and unless you use specific details their is no way in hell they can identify you.
Paranoia is a by product of being a Jehovahs Witness for many years .
this morning (12/3/16) on fox and friends ( a news show on the fox network) there was a great news piece.
it featured one of the newscasters and her parents, who happened to be the former governor of utah (jon huntsman).
religion ( the mormon church) has obviously played a large role in their family life.
Their are Jehovahs witnesses who are business people and have had very successful enterprises going despite what the majority of the rank and file JW`s experience .
It has nothing to do with what religion a person belongs to its more like the drive and ambition of the individuals involved.
As one Elder in business said to me ," Religion and Business are two different sides of a coin not to be confused with each other "
In other words Business and Religion are two different worlds that dont mix.
I have been associated with a few JW`s who run their own business some small and two not so small and they all agree

there is an episode called white christmas.
its based in the future and everyone has this app in their brain similar to a modern smartphone.
I have watched a number of episodes, though I havent seen that particular one..I like it that the endings are not always happy.
I cant say I liked the one about the PM and the pig ,disturbing.
i heard my hard out jw sister say that for the 1st time in many years and i'm hearing more and more jw's saying that.
years ago when i was in they talked about the new system coming any minute..
