  hello everyone, this is my fellow up from my first post, feel free to check that out if your unsure of the whole situation.

  i have two twin babies that are now two months old.

  i already to my ex to court, yes i took her to court and now im established as the father and ill be paying child support next week.

  People cant drink alcohol under 21 in the USA are they considered adults at 18 ?No baptism till 21 is my preference.

  my grandfather died refusing blood.

  i've since come to the realization that many jws have no other opportunities or options when it comes to leaving the cult.

  I wanted to email back and say 'whom!!! not where!' but I didn't. What's the point? You can't get through to them.

  Dont let an opportunity like that pass you by .You have nothing to lose and you just may get someone to think.

  Simply point out they claim to be Bible students ,so how is it they miss such an obvious distinction of "whom shall we go to" as opposed to "where shall we go to " which gives a totally different meaning.

  The Bible says "Who" ,jehovahs Witnesses says" where"they are being deceptive in saying that.

  In other words Jesus was saying you could go to any religion that recognises Jesus as Lord and Christ,the name that is above every other name in heaven on earth or under the earth {including Jehovahs name} Phil: 2:10,11

  Fader812 I hope you are not serious and if you are I hope you take stock of yourself and where you could end up in your life.

  I may be wrong but I think you are young and if you are dont waste your life depending on drugs of any sort .

  And if you are addicted please seek medical help before you ruin your life.

  After 103 years of JC Kingly Rule things dont look too good for Jehovahs Witnesses witnessing for Jehovah.

  Hindus 1.1 Billion

  The 2017 memorial attendance was just over 20 million with only about 8 million active Jehovahs witnesses worldwide.

  And we all know that the majority of Memorial attendees will not become active JW`s full stop.

  And even if they did they are a drop in the bucket compared to Christendom as a whole as well as Muslims and Hindus combined

  Muslims/Hindus 2.9 Billion

  This is the situation in the year 2015 , 1o1 years after Jesus Christ became Ruling in the heavens according to the GB since 1914 and many/many years after the JW`s/Governing Body declared " Babylon The Great Has Fallen Gods Kingdom Rules"

  If after 103 years of Jesus Christ rule enthroned in heaven he can only come up with approximately 21 Million who "claim" to be Jehovahs Witnesses (and not witnesses of jesus as is described in the NT) { thats another story } it doesnt bode well for the future of JC reign , nor does it bode well for Jehovah as GOD

  Somebody has screwed up and its either :

  Jehovah God

  Jesus Christ

  or Jehovahs Witnesses

  i bring this up because of an article in the supplement of the sunday mail in victoria australia "stellar" that pregnant serena williams is a devout (ihate that word ) jehovahs witness.

  i have sent a letter to the editor about it ,i wonder if it gets published.. has the wt ever distanced themselves from the claims that serena herself has claimed to be a witness ?

  when accepting a win in one of her succesful matches ?.

  .Their are a million topics that have been gone over a million times on this forum my friend

  Have you noticed how many newbies and by extension

  lurkers who are looking at this site lately ?

  Thats why I think its good to bring up topical items that are commented on in magazines that reflect on JW`s and famous people who claim to be associated with them .

  I acknowledged she is not a baptised witness yet claims to be one.
  I bring this up because of an article in the supplement of the Sunday mail in Victoria Australia "Stellar" that pregnant Serena Williams is a devout (Ihate that word ) jehovahs Witness

  Newbies and lurkers may not be aware of these facts and I just like to bring it to their attention.

  I think it's possible for a change of trend in JW growth

  this information age might reverse the trend of jw membership.

  Dont hold your breath about any real change happening soon Chook ,didnt the memorial attendance stagnate around the 8000 mark without ever going any lower for about 35 years ?

  Has the WT ever distanced themselves from the claims that Serena herself has claimed to be a witness ? when accepting a win in one of her succesful matches ?

  Especially now that she is pregnant out of wedlock to a worldly person and not a fellow Jehovahs Witness ?

  If she was baptised she would be DF right ? However not being baptised though a very public person who claims to be a JW vocally to the media will she be publicly sanctioned ?

  And if not doesnt that send a message to the R&F that the GB has double standards for the rich and famous against the average JW ?

  looking for anyone who was a regular at this congregation back in the 70's and 80's; my father just passed away and these were golden years for me (inextricable from my youth) despite any ill-feeling or resentment i may hold towards the faith at this point in my life (my father remained a witness until his death a few days ago).. thanks in advance.

  Welcome ryebass to the forum. I`m sorry for the loss of your father ,no doubt he had expectation of living to see paradise restored to the earth or he had hope of being taken to heaven as an annointed one.

  In any case he died before any of these things eventuated. Like so many before him.

  And so many will have this dissappointment after him.

  I can relate to many good times my family and I had while we were JW`s at socialising outside of KH meetings restuarants ,camping ,getting together at friends homes for scrabble ,drinks,or watching football.

  Maybe I was in a more liberal Congregation than most.

  I was a MS who hung around with Elders.

  I`m sorry I`m not anywhere near Springfield MA, I just wanted to welcome you and hopefully make you feel a little bit at home here

  I`m actually in Australia.

  not a very good idea to say the least.

  when i read paul's words the more i see how delusional the guy was.

  he was a genuine religious fanatic who contradicts jesus words on the sermon on the mount.. 2 corinthians 10:5 5we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of god, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to christ.. delusional and in need of some serious psychological help.

  Paul got everything about JC 2nd or 3rd hand ,he never met JC and ,apart from his supposed conversion on the road to damascus ,so why are his writings given so much importance in the New Testament ? If the Bible was indeed inspired by God ?

  And why didnt Jesus write anything down if as the scriptures say "his sayings were such that it would take volumes to write them all down " or words to that effect.

  If that was truly the case why were first century hearers of Jesus privy to his sayings and we in the 21st century have no idea about ?

  According to that scripture we in the 21st century are in the dark about most of what Jesus said ?

  Was it all unimportant ? no relevance for todays society ?
