  My mums dying she refuses blood transfusion...the horror.

  mum has a mild form of lukeimia if she took blood like normal people she could live to be 100. but no, anointed sisters dont compromise jehovah wont allow it.

  so here i am moving to sydney for one month going to hospital everyday putting my life on hold to watch my mother die slowly.

  watching her gasp for air, struggle to breath.

  Brother & Sisters, Aunts and Uncles.....husband and wife

  was just thinking about the practice in wt (and i believe some other religions as well) to call your fellow female (baptized) jw a sister, a brother if it is a man.

  children call older people aunt or uncle.

  so, at home, i can call my wife by her first name etc.

  I was a JW in Australia for 33 years covering two states and I have never heard of a child calling an adult JW either aunt or uncle ,never.

  It was one of the things that used to bug me about the religion where children adressed adults by brother or sister and then using their first name. E.G. brother john , or sister mary etc.

  I always thought it was disrespectful , if anything I thought they should adress an adult as brother or sister and use their surname but this was never the case.

  New baby on the way... and transfusions

  it's been a while since i posted life updates.

  this time we are having a baby boy come along in a few months.

  off course nothing is ever easy, my wife is extremely anemic to the extent we are being referred to a hematologist for iron and/or packed red blood cells and potential full blood transfusions.

  Congrats to you and your wife for the baby thats coming.

  for some reason the tight chest feeling over certain doctrines still hasn't susbsided. I feel so angry at myself for allowing it,

  Dont worry sooner or later those feelings will, and do subside .

  Just concentrate on a positive outcome for your wife and your new baby boy.

  Genesis chapter one can make your life meaningful and joyful

  literal reading of genesis chapter one brings no benefit because you would see god as speaking to fishes and birds (genesis 1:22) which we know is not possible.

  however, with “a king’s mind” if one looks for the implied truth behind its literary allusions it may bring immense benefit.

  (proverb 25:2) for example:.

  venus no disrespect implied though your comments /beliefs /thoughts are your own personal opinions and supposing their were many who read your views support your assertions before you know it you will have your own religion setting you up as a guru.or maybe a prophet even.

  Isnt this exactly how the 30-,40,000 different Christian religions started ?

  Who said the Bible is an instrument you can play any tune on.

  You might have a valid point their JM

  JW`s love to point out they are the only ones who witness door to door.Which is not wholly true.

  They think they are conducting such a great witness in the world which has also shown to be false.

  How do they think the Catholics and the rest of Christendom have reached the numbers they have if it was not for "witnessing "?

  How do they think Muslims gained so many if it wasnt for witnessing ?

  And the same goes for any other religious belief "witnessing" in one form or another is what has contributed to their growth .

  To focus on one sole form of witnessing is pedantic.

  i have two twin babies that are now two months old.

  i already to my ex to court, yes i took her to court and now im established as the father and ill be paying child support next week.

  People cant drink alcohol under 21 in the USA are they considered adults at 18 ?No baptism till 21 is my preference.

  my grandfather died refusing blood.

  i've since come to the realization that many jws have no other opportunities or options when it comes to leaving the cult.

  I wanted to email back and say 'whom!!! not where!' but I didn't. What's the point? You can't get through to them.

  Dont let an opportunity like that pass you by .You have nothing to lose and you just may get someone to think.

  Simply point out they claim to be Bible students ,so how is it they miss such an obvious distinction of "whom shall we go to" as opposed to "where shall we go to " which gives a totally different meaning.

  The Bible says "Who" ,jehovahs Witnesses says" where"they are being deceptive in saying that.

  In other words Jesus was saying you could go to any religion that recognises Jesus as Lord and Christ,the name that is above every other name in heaven on earth or under the earth {including Jehovahs name} Phil: 2:10,11

  Fader812 I hope you are not serious and if you are I hope you take stock of yourself and where you could end up in your life.

  I may be wrong but I think you are young and if you are dont waste your life depending on drugs of any sort .

  And if you are addicted please seek medical help before you ruin your life.

  The 2017 memorial attendance was just over 20 million with only about 8 million active Jehovahs witnesses worldwide.

  And we all know that the majority of Memorial attendees will not become active JW`s full stop.

  And even if they did they are a drop in the bucket compared to Christendom as a whole as well as Muslims and Hindus combined

  Muslims/Hindus 2.9 Billion

  This is the situation in the year 2015 , 1o1 years after Jesus Christ became Ruling in the heavens according to the GB since 1914 and many/many years after the JW`s/Governing Body declared " Babylon The Great Has Fallen Gods Kingdom Rules"

  If after 103 years of Jesus Christ rule enthroned in heaven he can only come up with approximately 21 Million who "claim" to be Jehovahs Witnesses (and not witnesses of jesus as is described in the NT) { thats another story } it doesnt bode well for the future of JC reign , nor does it bode well for Jehovah as GOD

  Somebody has screwed up and its either :

  Jehovah God

  Jesus Christ

  or Jehovahs Witnesses

  Who do you think has screwed up ?
