How appealing is this?

would you join a religion which says everyone who is not a member will be killed by god?.

would you join a religion which you know that statistically if you stay in it long enough, there is a high chance that it will split your family apart?.

would you join a religion which demands that you preach to your neighbours that they are soon going to die if they don’t believe your message?.

What organisation religious or otherwise would tell you of the negative effects of you joining, ? NONE.

The onus is on us fools who do join such organizations .

However the poor buggers who are born into such cults are the ones to be pittied because they start off life behind the "8" ball .

My hat goes off to these ones who wake up to the TTATT and leave.You didnt have a choice in the religion your parents subjected you too .

Whereas those of us who became converts should have been more discerning and questioning just exactly what we were getting ourselves into.

At least we all did get free and thats the main thing.

so i made this to take off some of the anxiety of what i have to tell all my friends when i have to go to my band camp i have to go to.. so i play tuba in my school i love it i had made friends that are now close friends.so i am number 1 or 2 when it comes to how good we play so when placements for what band your in for next year i was put in to honors band my aunt said good job but when we went to the meeting for it she got mad saying she thinks it to much for me going into school early than i do staying at school later and some things she said was right but the thing that got her mad is that i might not be able to go to the meetings after home work etc and she went more into the jw things on school.. the thing that gets me mad is that know i have to think of a way to tell my friends that i im out of honors band because of jw reasons.. one more thing is i cant do many things i suck at sports and many more butt playing the tuba was the one thing i could say im good at than video games but it seems like at high school i might have to drop it :(.

Exposing the Core Premise of JW False Teaching

poison is at work in any argument with jehovah's witnesses.

this poison has little to do with the beauty of watchtower logic or the tasty morsels of jw reasoning.. the poison is odorless and tasteless and it has absorbed into their core premise: scripture interpretation directed by jehovah.. if you buy into the core premise (somebody possesses a divinely granted access to an infallible source of truth) you are already dead in the water.. that is the deal breaker.

false premises lead always to false conclusions.. stop right here.. the core misrepresentation of christianity solely rests in accepting the bible as the inerrant word of almighty god.

He was also roaming around the earth in Jesus day tempting Jesus over rulership of all the Kingdoms of the earth
According to the Bible Jesus was King at his ascension into heaven about 33 CE he was reigning King and Priest from then on
Questions: for Jehovahs witnesses
1. .Was jesus King about the time of his asenscion about 33 CE.?
2.Was jesus king in the year 1914 ? as Jehvahs Witnesses state ?
3. Or is Jesus Kingship something that is to occur at a future date ?
How many interpretations of Jesus Kingship are their in the Bible ?
How many times can he be made a King ? with different outcomes ? at different times ?

Jehovahs Witnesses and Babylon The Great.Why the Emphasis on the R.C.Church and not on Islam.

i was thinking back to when the book babylon the great has fallen gods kingdom rules.was published many years ago when it was believed religion was declining in the world.. the book took exception to the r.c.church as the worst of christendom substituting themselves for the kingdom of god on earth , the counterfeit kingdom i think they called them.vicar of christ on earth.. and while its true to some degree in western lands today that religion is declining as regards christendom it is not happening in non christian religions around the world.. which brings me to the unprcedented rise and spread of islam in the world today .. with the war in iraq ,syria ,etc,and the people fleeing these war torn countries to europe and elsewhere around the globe with refugees and asylum seekers the spread of islam in the short space of time now beats any missionary projects conducted by christendom.. judaism ,christendom and islam all have their roots in the bible.the jews first then christians then muslims.. the bible only relates to the first two jews and christians and is completely silent about muslims.even in prophecy.. the book mentioned earlier btggkr nowhere mentions islam or muslims.as if they didnt even exist ,yet today they equal in numbers to all of christendoms religions.. islam today is by far a greater threat to christianity and especially to jehovahs witnesses than anything the roman catholic church ever posed before.. obviously the holy bible and the holy spirit or jehovahs chosen people the jehovahs witnesses never did forsee the rise and influence of the religion of islam in todays world.. the bible is completely silent about islam or the rise of muslims on the world stage.. could it be that they could no more predict the future than i could ?.

the wtb&ts the publishing house of jehovahs witnesses have for the past 100 years have continually attacked the roman catholic religion and portrayed them in an unfavourable light.time after time in mags and books,.

how many times have the wtb&ts attacked and challenged the religion of islam and muslims and condemned them as a principle member of babylon the great the empire of false religion.. to this day jehovahs witnesses cannot freely go door to door preaching their message in muslim dominated countries where proselytism is forbidden.

B.B. my experience with the WT ,going back to the 1960`s was that they always had an article or two every year against the R.C.Church maybe i was more attuned to it because my brother in law was a staunch catholic and we used to have long discussions about religion.

Two things that stand out to me as far as the WT was against the R.C.Church was an article in the WT dealing with "The chief cornerstone " of religion and it dealt with the claim of the church `s claim to the apostle Peter.

And of course the WT`s response that it was a foundation built on a dubious foundation.

The other one that sticks in my mind was an article that stated that the R.C.Church was the dominant member of Christendom that all other christian religions sprung from and that they had a Pope who they claimed was the Vicar of christ on earth

And while they spoke about christendom it was always as I remember it as the R.C.Church as the principle opponent of Christ jesus kingdom.

JWs biggest problem is not doctrinal issues

it's biggest problems are associated with its lack of genuine love and concern for the rank& file.

the average person doesn't need a food critic to tell them their hamburger is shit, in the same manner the average person can discern kindness and love.

gbs fake love and concern is evident in the way head office deals with victims of sexual abuse by jw clergy.

I remember in the 70`s some JW`s pointed out to the GB that japanese non JW`s as a nation showed more love and compassion as a culture than was found among jehovahs witnesses and asked why was that.? If we had the truth ?

Arent these figures only taking into account the USA ? whereas deaths have occured all over the world due to Jehovahs witnesses ban on blood transfusions and non acceptance of particular blood components while accepting other blood fractions or components.

Where in the Bible are such distinctions made as to what blood fraction or component you can use or not use,?

Its a man made ruling by a group of men who by their own admission are neither inspired or infallible nor spirit directed and can make mistakes.

And hundreds if not thousands of people have died obeying the dictates of these men over the past 70 decades.
