I vote for Raymond Franz.. because not only did he leave but he helped thousands of other leave too, with his books.. Although Dwight and Jackson are good, they didn't concentrate on bringing so many out with them.

How Jesus Returns?
by cameo-d inif you believe that jesus returned invisibly, i'd like to know why you still cling to that wt dictate.. but my question is more for those who believe the return is yet to come.. according to scriptures, jesus appeared to many people after his resurrection, but the acension was not a "grand send off".. in acts it says that he will return in like manner.
several scriptures say he will come in the clouds with great glory; that does not seem like the way he left, at least from what we have of scriptural infomation.
do you think that all will see his coming, but that he will personally appear only to his followers?.

Hi Cameo..
Okay, I think you are being a bit blindsided somehow in the 'thief in the night' thing. Here's another scripture:
Rev. 3:3b But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.
Are you trying to say, Jesus isn't coming to us again? Okay, here's another.
Heb. 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people, and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
I think the 'sign of the son of man' is actually Michael (Jesus) himself. The sky darkening, etc. may be part of the happenings thereof. Please note Is. 11:10:
In that day the root of Jesse will stand as a signal/banner for the peoples, the nations will rally toward him.
A sign, signal, banner - something that ones can look toward and rally around. Similiar to the copper serpent in the wilderness that was raised up for people to look toward.
Revelations is very symbolic and the deaths can be symbolic as dyingfrom God's standpoint and then after Jesus appears, they many be given a chance to repent as we will have 1,000 years.
The goats are the religious leaders who are willfully and knowingly telling lies and promoting a deception.
It seems the religious leaders are pretty mislead, however itI think that the division is more political during the GT, as the dividing mark is if one gets the mark of the beast or not. Beasts are always political in the scriptures.
he stands up for his people during the GT
Are you saying he provides divine protection? I see no evidence of that.
no, I'm not saying this. Here's Dan. 12:1
At that time Michael, the great prince, who protects your people will arise.
I think he will begin fighting against the beast and the horns in behalf of God's people, which includes Armaggedon.
comments appreciated.

Hi Cameo,
You said, it's the day of Jehovah that comes as thief in the night, but the scriptures also say that Jesus comes as a thief in the night too right? see Rev. 16:15.....I agree, the abomination kicks off with the GT. You are right, a few will recognize the abomination for what it is and will not be fooled and they will not get the mark of the beast. Yes, the sign or the ability to recognize that Jesus is here, will come after the GT. I think alot of people die, but in a spiritual way. They will go on the goat side. And after the GT, the son of man will separate people. I think the elect are gathered after the GT.
Rev. 5:9 and 10, says the kingdom of God will reign on the earth. The Jews are still looking for a human messiah. Why would people think otherwise except for the fact that all church leaders talk contrary so adamently.
The angels reap, true, but the son of man, Michael battle and in Dan. 12:1, he stands up for his people during the GT.
Anymore ideas.. I like this subject..

Hi Cameo,
I would not expect Jesus/Michael to appear as a fullgrown man because, he comes as a thief in the night and as a thief he has to be here without people recognizing him for a period. I don't think during his presence at the GT, that he would be recognized, as Math. 24 writes, not to let anyone tell you, 'see here or see there', as he is like lightening from the east to the west. Then after the tribulation of those days, then we will see the sign of the son of man.
A full grown man who suddenly appears would be a spectacle, but a child raised by parents into a man wouldn't be and could be here like a thief, conquering and battling. Jesus said , he would return in the same manner as he left. The things Michael/Jesus does would need reasoning verbally. For instance, in Ps. 2 -- the kings of the earth, are warned to kiss the son lest God be angry. Apparently during the battle of Armaggedon, Michael/Jesus battles w/ the sword coming from his mouth. This shows me that he speaks words of judgment and denounciation. I would expect to recognize him in a similiar way as the first coming. The words and expressions would ring true like they were from God. I don't know if the essense of Buddha could be transferred to Jesus of Nazareth.. but it did cross my mind before.
What do you think of all this.. How will the return be to you?

In a way, yes. I think the spirit of God's son was implanted in Mary.. and that it happens again on the 2nd coming. John the Baptizer was Elijah and also in Malachi is said to appear again, in our day.. as well. I think the spirit of a person, or spirit individual has their essense within it.. just as God's spirit has his essense in it.. and Jesus' spirit when in us, has his essense in us..The spirit is a strange thing like fire and wind.. Do you agree?

I believe the only thing that makes sense is a return as a human man with a birth again, as a baby on up.

by nurse09 ini am new to this board.
i have looked on for some time now and decided to join.

Hello, I ABSOLUTELY, believe Jesus is Michael on his second coming. Notice, the scriptures that apply to Jesus on the second coming, he is only called Michael, and not an archangel. As in Dan. 12 and Rev. 12..

Avoid Spiritism? Is it the work of demons?
by bbinkss inthe bible tells us to 'avoid spiritism'.
even if we believe in life after death, can our loved ones contact us or are satan and his demons deceiving us?.
i know that there are so many frauds out there and i am far from gullible, i know to look for generalised statements and 'cold reading'........however....... i really think i have seen the work of a genuine medium!.

Hello there, I am doing tarot since I got out.. When you think of it, SPIRITISM is just trying get into contact with the spirit world.. In the tarot, there are many symbols of the bible.. The word 'spritism' isn't really in the bible.. I believe, it's witchcraft.. I don't foretell the future with the cards, as I don't think they can do that.. That may be wrong to do. But I just ask the cards questions about the present and they help me to cope, and see underlying motive and the reality of situations.. They are very helpful and not at all demonic.. The Jews has prophets and urim and thermin, (spelling wrong), and other ways to contact Jehovah, so why should Christians be in the dark so much..? The Jews must have been into SPIRITISM< right?? I have a strong desire to see how Jehovah feels about things and the cards help me tap into that.
