Strollers at DC

if i understand it correctly, strollers are not allowed at us conventions.. in sweden, a letter was written to the congregation, introducing this new rule.

however, quite a few families wrote letters to the society,.

asking if they wanted families with children to attend the assemblies or not... it was stated that they would not go unless strollers were allowed.. the society pulled back, allowing strollers in designated areas.. in norway, they didn t even bother to introduce the rule in the first place... .

Judge Rutherford clearly stated in his divinely inspired book "Children" that dubs should not have any, let alone get married. Although this divinely inspired book was written 71 years ago, it has never been repudiated, so Jehovah still is 100% behind it.

Quit whining. Quit getting married. Quit having little rug-rats and start SELLING MORE books!

It doesn't matter that there would only be about 25 or 30 dubs today (tops!) if dubs hadn't violated Rutherford's divinely inspired admonition not to marry and have children over these last 71 years, either. Rutherford has spoken. Therefore, Jehovah has spoken, and you don't want to mess around with Jehovah.

I went to my last meeting in January 1973, and it sucked.

Are things better there now? If no, I made the right choice not to re-visit. If yes, they probably still suck, so I made the right choice not to re-visit.

Haven't seen you post in ages.

Regarding the title to your thread: let's say that thousands and thousands of JWs died because and simply because they refused blood. Let us say that thousands and thousands of JWs did not die because they refused blood, but ONLY because if they had taken blood, it or curcumstances because of it would have killed them.

Now, if only ONE JW more did not die because they received blood, then it would be Blood: 1 No Blood: 0.

As slim as they are, the odds are still in favor of taking blood when deemed necessary.

If there were more "worldly" people dying BECAUSE of taking blood, than there would otherwise be if no blood was available or offered, then WHY are blood transfusions still the first choice of their physicians in the situations where they are warranted?

How have you fared since leaving the Jehovah's Witnesses?

howdy guys and gals!.

personally, my life has been fantastic.

it's like a massive weight has been lifted off of me, especially when it comes to having to go to the meetings.

My life has been very good overall since I left, with a few minor exceptions: I'm bothered by those pesky demons always talking to me and begging me to go to more garage sales. Also, I've not been able to eat split-pea soup anymore. When I do, I spew it out about 8 feet and my head turns around in circles. I do like levitating on the the bed, though. It's fun! I like to sexually pleasure myself using the "Reasoning" book as an adult toy, but that is just harmless fun.

I also keep having this strange urge to throw priests, COs and JW elders out of third-story windows.

However, those are only minor issues which I can live with.

Jehovah had to direct his attention away from 15 brutal rape-murders, including 4 children under 11 years old, a drive-by shooting where 4 innocent bystanders were killed and a suicide bomber who blew up a strip mall where 34 people died, in order to get to Wimbleton and make sure Serena won.

There just MIGHT be some justification for granting tax exemptions to non-profit religions, but definitely no justification for granting any exemptions to a profit-generating religion which is also a non-prophet religion, but claims just the opposite.
