  The Cross

  when one talks about the subject of jesus' death with the witnesses the most important thing obviously is the ransom sacrifice.

  i find it really odd though that there is so much focus on whether or not jesus was killed on a stake or a cross when obviously it didn't really matter how he died... in fact, he could've been tortured in many different ways and it would still have the same meaning, right?

  so since you would no doubt be disfellowshipped for saying, "hey maybe it was a cross and not a stake" i decided to look up where they got their information and make sure it was a credible source.. and i quote from the insight book:.

  In esoterica the cross represents union of the male and female, opposite polarities, the same as yin and yang. The stauros is male and the crossbeam is female. Intersection of the two is the key to enlightenment. The same symbolism is in the Star of David, with the intersection of two triangles. Everything the Watchtower does is to intensify what's wrong with religion: Do everything possible to remove the female aspect of God from everything. That's probably the main hidden reason they hate the cross. Their God is angry, male, and narcissist, just like most men today. Or at least that's what they tell the dubs. If you look into Kabbalah, "Jehovah" comes from the Hebrew Iod-Havah, with the Iod being male and the havah female. If you look into Fritz Springmeier's book "Be Wise As Serpents", there is a chapter called "The Cult of the Double-Sexed God Jehovah", you'll see that the WT leadership certainly knew that Jehovah was both male and female. It may seem too subtle to be true, but once you understand a little about metaphysics and the power of thought and emotion, you'll see that this is how religion has shaped human consciousness.

  White dove has it totally right. Wannabe, read the 29th chapter of Isaiah. The "tradition" mentioned there is religion. It's the dogma that's handed down that keeps the blindfolds on.

  We're here to awaken consciousness. If we keep blaming everything on "Satan", we'll be asleep forever. He is nothing more than a metaphor for the human ego.

Talk about synchronicity though, as I was signing in to post this, I had to type the word "motels" into the validation box. Remember the Prodigal Son, he lived a life of debauchery but still came home to the same party as his righteous-ass way-ahead-of-his-time JW brother! P.S.

  I have found the truth about the truth now...

  i am a third generation of jehovah witnesses, even if i never got baptized.

  however, they disfellowship me when i was around 15. this was around 1987. even if i have not been in the "truth" for so many years it has affected all my life in many ways not only negative.

  a couple of years ago i thought the events in the world maybe proved to me that they were right after all.

  Who survives the big-A?

  i've seen experiences shared that jws have a hard time admitting that they are the only ones to survive the big-a and everyone else, including innocent infants are to be slaughtered.. that should be an easy one-two punch rebuttal, i think.. q1: is there anyone practicing false religion and worshiping a false god going to survive armageddon?.

  q2: does anyone else, except the jws have the true religion?.

  Doomsday predicitons generate fear and suppress human spirit and creative potential. The ruling elite know this and have been using fear to dominate mankind for thousands of years. They funded and created Armageddon cults like the Watchtower, which are going down the drain where they belong. Why? Because the Lord gave humans free will, the will to wipe out the Armageddon potential that every prophet both inside and outside the Bible had seen. The end of the Kali Yuga was foretold by many ancient civilizations including the Maya. The majority of these visions pointed to 1988. The 1987 Harmonic Convergence was carried out by 144,000 Lightworkers who meditated on the earth's chakras on behalf of humanity. This was the "song that no one could Master but the 144,000..." Three years later the Soviet Union collapsed and Doomsday was nullified. One of the few things the Watchtower had right was the "king of the North" being the Soviet Union. The "Evil Empire" was supposed to be destroyed by Jesus according to Daniel! Instead, it was destroyed because human consciousness decided to get rid of it!

  Here's a couple of tips that seem to have escaped the editors of the Nicea Council:

  "He that exercises faith in me, that one will also do the works that I do; and he will do works greater than these".

  "If you have faith the size of a mustard grain, you will say to this mountain, 'transfer from here to there', and it will transfer, and nothing will be impossible for you."

  How can my long faded brother avoid getting DF'd? Please help!

  my brother faded about 6 years ago.

  during that period he managed to avoid the elders.

  he now has a child with his girlfriend.. could they df him in absentia for this?.

  Yes, the advice so far is right on. He should stay away from them, and if he should happen to run into somebody from the Hall somewhere who knows him, he shouldn't say anything about his personal life. The elders don't seem to care about bothering people who aren't around as "stumbling blocks" for the spiritual zombies no matter what they're doing.

  Jehovah Witnesses- True Christians?

  what do you say to people outside the religion that say jehovah witnesses are the only true christians and they are the only group that follow the bible as opposed to other reilgions?

  i see these comments on youtube about videos that addressed the issue with the policy jws follow today.

  i am not bitter but i thought if you think that jehovah witnesses are true christians and follow the bible, why not join the group?

  With over 40,000 denominations that, according to Barron's Encyclopedia, all "hate each other", what REALLY defines a Christian?

  The Bible is full of contradictions, so the Watchtower developed their OWN Bible, and they only follow the parts that fit into their dogma. So I would not call them a Christian religion, it is rather a literalized form of Masonry (derived from Kabbalah), which is what Paul (a Gnostic) meant when he referred to "milk" versus "meat". If the JW's ever got the "meat" all at once, they would have a collective stroke.

  The Wizards in the WATCH TOWER (See "Enochian Magick") get away with this because of the New World [Order] "Translation".
  
  At Luke 22:20, they correctly rendered the Greek Word "diatheke" as "covenant". Later on in verse 29, after Judas had been dismissed, the same word "covenant" appears in the NWT, but this time the Greek word is "diatithemai". It does not mean "covenant", it means "appoint", as the KJV and almost every other translation properly renders it. Since the dubs are forbidden to do personal research they'll never get it. In the meantime, the Satanists up in the Tower get off on having 15 million people refuse the body and blood of Yeshua. They also conjure up powers from this, just like they do every time someone utters the word "Jehovah", the most important word in Freemasonry, which they use in their murder rituals.
  
  If anyone who is interested in finding out just how Satanic the Watchtower is, and has been since its conception by Rosicrucian CT Russell, download and read "Be Wise As Serpents" by Fritz Springmeier. It is a fantastic book that you won't be able to put down.

  having never been a jw, what is the feeling of a 'run of the mill' witness towards these sites sympathetic towards the general doctrines of the wts, but calling for some major reforms?.

  I've been posting at e-Watchman for two years. He kicked two-thirds of the members off the board 18 months ago for disagreeing with the Watchtower's version of the New Covenant, where the "anointed" are the mediators for the "Great Crowd" rather than Jesus. The other issue involved was whether or not the Watchtower was the "God's visible organization" and "sole channel of communication" between Jehovah and mankind.
  
  He doesn't care what the members believe, as long as they don't post anything contrary to the forum guidelines, which is that no one is allowed to undermine the core doctrines, or make references to the Watchtower being part of "Babylon the Great". Personally I don't agree with most of what he espouses but I think he has a few things right, and his board does serve a useful purpose, in my opinion. It allows a JW to learn just enough of the "truth about the truth" without having an immediate stroke, heart attack, or aneurism, which is what would happen to a lot of dubs if they were suddenly exposed to the works of somebody like Fritz Springmeier.

  Matthew 16:18 really says it all. Jesus gave the job of "Apostle to the Nations" to Peter, not Paul. Paul claimed it for himself, by way of a "vision", the story of which changed every time chameleon Paul told it. Jesus said he would return at the "end of the age", he didn't say he was coming back to pay Paul a visit. As a result, traditional Christianity follows Paul, not Jesus. If I said that I saw Jesus while I was driving on the highway, and he gave me a new Gospel, and then I said that anyone who doesn't follow my gospel should be accursed, what two words would you say to me?
