  24 Questions: Are You Awake?

  about 5 years ago, when i first realized that the watchtower was just another false religion, it was a mind-blowing experience, and i knew that a whole new world was opening up to me.

  but i had no idea that this was only the first of many revelations that the world we live in is, in reality, nothing like i was taught to believe.

  i don't claim to be fully awake, or even ten percent awake, but i believe that the most important step in the awakening process is the realization that we are in a state of sleep, or more accurately, unconsciousness.. i just came across this fantastic website this morning, and found these 24 questions that i totally resonate with.

  i apologize if this sounds like a commercial, but i would like to share some info about a fantastic program that i've been using on my laptop for the last five years or so.

  i've never had one that lasted this long, they usually would go in the garbage after 2 or 3 years.

  from just normal usage, pc's get fragmented registries, misaligned files, all sorts of errors, accompanied by ever increasing blue screens of death.

  Gnosticism and Christianity

  having seen in history how the catholic church/roman empire systematically wiped the gnostics from the face of the earth and attempted to do the same with all of their writings, i find it appalling when lies are told to this very day about what really happened in the first 300 years of "christianity".

  regardless of what you might believe about the gnostics, they had a right to live and breathe on this earth just like anyone else.

  to defend the church's position and say that it was the gnostics that "corrupted christianity" is not only woefully ignorant, but in my opinion, is like a nod of agreement that these people were a threat to the church and deserved to die.

  The Serpent of Life and Wisdom

  rather than trying to make sense of the bible as it is written (which is impossible), it's very helpful to consult the mythical source of it all.

  "myth" does not mean "fairy tale" or "bs", it means an allegory that is attempting to convey wisdom as only a metaphor can.

  that being said, having done extensive research into these allegories and myths, the following rings very true to me.
