I think you have to give worf some latitude. He seems like a disgruntled, short man trying to look big with large text.
His point is valid about apostasy .. in a way. The difference is that I see him as an apostate because he has rejected the 'true' religion.

#1 ... why would an elder ask me if I'm visiting apostate websites?
#2 ... is this an apostate website? Or is it a place where all are welcome to discuss topics concerning Jehovah's Witnesses? Last I looked not all here are apostates ... including reniaa.
#3 ... if I felt what I am doing is wrong ... I wouldn't be doing it.

remiaa ... just to let you know ... I wish you well in your studies. I was once mia too but returned to being an active witness and am so glad I did. If you are posting on this site to hone your skills .. it will likely be more detrimental than good. In reality posting here can become addictive so the sooner you leave the better off you'll be. When they suggest you leave here it's generally because they don't like to be reminded that they mostly know that what they are doing is wrong. Lurk if you want but be very careful ... we are warned to be very cautious in our use of the internet ... for good reason.

White Dove ... I used the expression that some feel they were somehow mistreated. It means nothing more and nothing less. I feel I've been mistreated too so it was not a derogatory statement on my part. At one time or another we all 'feel' mistreated. Some just hold the pain longer ... some of us get up, dust ourselves off and get on with things.

Through the years I've posted here when somthing interested me. For the most part members were rather decent to me .. a few very nice. I know there are many boards on line similar to this one ... I've visited some but they are mostly rude, crude or both. So with the close of this one at least I'll be able to keep away from these sites. For this, I am very grateful to you, Simon.
As the host of this site, you have been fairminded and slow to anger ... both very good traits.
I am not, nor do I plan to become an exJW, but have found some insights by reading here. Some have doctrinal differences ... this happens. I feel bad for those who feel they have been emotionally and mentally battered. Give it time and prayer.

Amazing abuse of privacy...
by CaptainSchmideo inmy sister and her husband live in another city/state from me, so i don't get to see them that often.
he's a ministerial servant, they have two young children.
i heard a story that happened to them recently.... he was taken aside by an elder, who wanted to inspect his bag to see how many toys they were bringing to the meeting for their daughter to play with.. apparently, someone complained!.
