Challenge to Creationists

in response to the 37 threads in my evolution is a fact series - see bottom of op for links - perry posted a link to an article "44 reasons why evolution isn't true".. i offered him a challenge on the thread and by pm.

predictably he is totally ignoring it, so i am offering the challenge to any evolution-denier who thinks they have evidence to support their position.. please present one specific piece of evidence for creationism.. my task will be to refute it with evidence within 24 hours.. then i will present one piece of evidence for evolution and your challenge will be the same.. all posts must be as succinct as reasonably possible.

entirely in your own words, without copy-paste, videos or links.. please post your interest to take part and we will set it up before the first actual post in the exchange.

Since leaving the WT, I've learned that John the Baptizer was also viewed as the Elijah that was to come.

John was born around Passover, and to this very day, some Jews leave an empty chair at the Passover Seder for him.

Oh, the stuff to be discovered when you keep an open mind!

with the new rc conventions making their rounds, much has been leaked in regards to their loyalty videos.

disturbing is the ramping up of hatred and shunning towards those who have faded, especially if such ones according to the watchtower are living in sin, but have not been found guilty as yet by the judicial process.

certainly of the criteria of guilt, is talking against the gb, which i personally come under.

After all, you can hold on to an untenable position for only so long.

I used to wonder why the day-for-a-year rule (Numbers 14:34, Ezekiel 4:6) which the WTS used for its 1914 calculation did not apply to the prophecies in Daniel 7 and 12, and Revelation 11-13, but did apply to Daniel 4.

In other words, why 1260 days and not 1260 years?

Just one of the many inconsistencies that left me scratching my head and looking for the nearest exit.

I haven't thoroughly examined the evidence for evolution, but I've read several books and articles about the subject.

What gets me is the assertion that such and such happened millions of years ago.

Why such a long period of time?

On the other hand, the Bible presents information to the contrary, AND answers the all-important question that evolution cannot: Whence evil?
