  this thread is inspired by a beloved poster who said he managed to sleep all through yesternight.. how about you, do you sleep through the night?.

  each morning, around 2 am, it's as if a hand shakes me awake.. i became accustomed to arising at that time to take care of my semi-invalid mother.. she passed nearly 12 years ago, but my body?

  i had to work with an elder in fs today.

  there was no way out.. this elder is from africa somewhere, right off the boat.

  Are you in the USA?

  He's probably unsure how to act around Americans, or his English may not be too good.

  Or, it may be a form of mock humility that I've observed in quite a few immigrants.

  Whatever, he should not exploit his son in that manner.

  last month i got caught by my wife after a late night out with her (and some drinks).

  Once, I accompanied my 4-year old grandson to Montgomery for a Governor's inauguration ceremony.

  Part of the events included riding up Dexter Avenue on a trolley car

  He was so excited, and of course had to go.

  Luckily, I'd held onto an empty juice bottle and the cap.

  By the time we reached the Capitol, that little blister had filled the bottle.
