have you found it difficult?
by 4digitcode into make friends since you're out of the organization?
maybe these things take time.
it's hard to establish new friendships when ones i had for years floated away in an instant.

I haven't really found it difficult to make friends. I've just established myself as more of a loner as of late. I feel alot like deaconbluez. I don't like doing all of the hanging out as they do. I thought there might've been something wrong with me, but hey...it's just the way I am.

My first post
by Dianna ini was kind of skeptical about registering or even posting anything on this site but after a long struggle of going back and forth and after talking to a friend telling me that it would be good for me i decide to do it.
i grew up in a jehovah witness house hold.
it all was great a had a wonderful childhood but everything went down hill when i started to have my own opinion on things.

IS YOUR FEAR LESSENING?
by Dansk inmany here are afraid to come out into the open with their identity because they still have friends and family in.
however, it is noticeable that there are many newbies here and more and more exposes on watchtower.
do you, therefore, feel less intimidated or afraid now?.

Great post Dansk, and my fear has lessened tremendously. Sure, I wouldn't want to do anything purposely to get myself DFed since i'm techinically "still in" and have family around the organization. However, i've finally felt comfortable enough to share my name here recently and i'm considering posting my picture here.
In the first few weeks, as you stated, I was afraid that by posting here i'd get a lightning bolt aimed right at me up until I made my first post here. I feel so free now!

kingdom hall sound team
by jacethespace ini was one of the group of sound servers in the congregation to play kingdom hall tunes, flip mikes on,etc.record the meetings [ scary thought].half the time we had to replace the casette tapes as people never returned them after they lent them.well anyway a few times i often entertained thoughts that i would love to start the opening of a meeting with bon jovi- living on a prayer or some other rock song like that.oh what the hell i think i,ll return one more time and leave with a loud entrance.

If You Were Single, Would You Ever Date A Married or Separated Person?
by minimus inlately, i've seen more than a few unhappy couples go their own way and do their own thing.
one guy i know regularly dates women only on friday nights but comes home to his wife the rest of the time.
my impression is she doesn't want to know what he's doing------just as long as he comes home to her.. i know a state senator's wife who has 2 kids and she's miserable with her politician/lawyer husband but in public they look like the perfect couple.
