by Tired of the Hypocrisy inhave been involved with the watchtower since 1968, hence my moniker....tired of the hypocrisy.. i am hear to listen, learn, share and help others.
i have not done much of anything in about 15 yrs.
maybe since my wife's folks are still active in it and i would not want them to get on her about it.

Quick question about KMs
by R.F. indo the boes give kms to the inactive?
in the time that i was considered "irregular" they would send me the km by way of my dad, but it seems that i haven't received any since i've been on the inactive list since a few months ago.
i'm certainly not upset over this, and i frankly don't care, but i'm just curious as to if the org thinks the inactive shouldn't receive one.. robert.

It go so that that was one more meeting I wasn't going to go to if I didn't have the proper materials to follow along with.
BB, this sounds like another case of the JWs shooting themselves in the foot. Their information control tactics won't do them any good in the long run.

by Open mind infor those who no longer get your monthly km, i thought i'd just share a little "encouraging" tidbit from the material scheduled for this week's service meeting (tm).. there's a 20 minute "regurgitate the paragraph" session entitled "pioneer or die" or something like that.
i can't remember the exact title right now, but it was one of the most blatant "beat the sheep.
you're not good enough" articles i've seen in quite a while.

Yesterday my father informed me that he will shun me...
by nvrgnbk inbut only if a judicial committee tells him to.. if they say i'm inactive and let me be, he can still talk to me.. it's meaningless, because i would never meet with a jc, but he let me know where he stands.. he's dead to me.. i'm not hurting.. lost tons of respect for the man.. i told him he was brainwashed and left him without saying goodbye.. to no longer live for his approval was liberating, but this is even better.. i told him that i couldn't do that to my son.. his response?.
unconditional love is a lie.. you only get unconditional love from a dog.. sick, brainwashed, emotionally bankrupt man.. p.s.- not looking for cyber hugs.
just sharing the experience for others going through similar things and for lurkers to see what this cult does to people.. regards,.

One particular thing about this that is saddening is that his shunning actions would be based on what a few men say to do.

I absolutely love Krystal burgers! They don't have any of the resteraunts in this area so I have to get them whenever i'm in Memphis. Perhaps that's a good thing for my case.
