But dinosaurs are based on reality.
I left after '75 and I haven't touched a bible since, so I'm really not sure as to the answer to this.
When I was a kid, I seem to remember dinosaurs on the inside cover of my bible. Am I remembering correctly?
Are they still there, if not, why do you think they got rid of them?

i have seen my share of horrors in my life; my own; others when i worked on the ambulance and in the funeral home.
i've come home covered in someone else's blood and dealt with death on numerous times.
i have been to the dentist five times in the past month.
My wisdom teeth were growing in sideways and killing me. When the dentist was trying to pull them out he actually had to put his knee on my chest to pull them out, after snapping the teeth into two pieces. Have you ever heard the sound that a nail makes when it's being pulled out of wood? Well that's the sound I heard in my inner ear.
The pain would have been unbearable except for a new friend they introduced me to. He goes by the name Nitrous Oxide. It's weird, it's seems like I could feel the pain, bit I really didn't care. Mr. Nitrous and me said bring it on.
I think the dentist broke my jaw, because even 10 years later, I still have a hitch in my jaw when I open and close it. Oh, well at least it doesn't hurt.

i was wondering what it is like to experience childhood in the org.
i am an aspiring writer ad the org has always interested me...not in the sense that i'd like to join.
please send me some replies.
I have posted quite a few times about how awful it was to grow up as a J.W. child. You can look up my old posts if you want, and feel free to email me also.
One of the things I found fascinating when I first typed in Jehovahs witness on Google, was findind sites where people described their experiences and emotions while growing up in the 'Truth'. Growing up, you think you are the only one experincing all the boredom at the Kingdom Halls and feeling ostracized at school.
No matter how long you're out of the 'Truth', you never seem to be able to relate to people who grew up in a normal environment.

the more meetings you go to the more drivel you hear.
elder's meetings were terrible because all you ever did was gossip about how everyone wasn't doing this or that.
meetings for field service sucked.....enough said on that.
It was all torture. But Sundays were the worst, because I just wanted to be home watching the 49ers.

Hi Crystal, I lived in Pismo for a few years, on Wadsworth ave. On the corner near the beach.
It seems like there is a festival every weekend. Great place, an old Monkeys hide out.
