The GB is a cloaking device for the FDS

i spent my first 25 years in the jws and could never figure out who the fds was.

today it was bugging me - why can't i relate to the fds even though i now know it is nonsense, but even more important, why can't jws understand who the fds really is?.

let's look at some facts.

Well I personally associated with a number of the class called the FDS. The society at that time put a great distance beteen anyone of the anointed class and the governing body. Their belief was the collective body of anointed members on earth at any one time where the body of Christ and was the FDS. The GB represented that FDS on earth.

Those of the anointed among the JW where never ask about anything and were viewed with great distrust by the elders. If they tried to give any imputs to the GB it would have been viewed with great distrust and lable an apostate teaching

If one was of the anointed and lived at the headquarters then things were fine for the most part.. All those assuming the ranks of GB were hand picked and groomed over many years as any corporate office does. They wanted no disagreements. Generally the great crowd had no idea what it all meant and didn't care. And there was a power struggle going within the GB when other members were added as need.

The GB could not allow for younger members of the anointed class because of the 1914 time line. So they started grooming members of the GC to step in and take over the GB as they died off. At one time it would have been considered disloyal for a member of the GC to take a position of one of the anointed on the GB

It was never about using the FDS collectively as a body to gather information and feed it to others. It was about doctrine purity and goose stepping in that direction. In fact, most of those of the anointed class lived in fear of GB and the elders, I have to believe from personal experience that most of those of that class were disfellowship over the years. Which is realy sad because those that I knew personally were very spirtual people and loved God. And were in constant turmoil over the actions and teaching of the GB.

I used to say that JW's threw the light out of the organization .

Auctally if you look at my early comments regarding indoctrination I quoted. directly from the Oxford Dictionary.

What I have continualy stated in this thread is very simple when people or group become intolerant and oppress another groups for whatever reason they are no better then the people they oppress. To me; and you are correct (not the dictionary) that takes a form of indoctrination.

Is the dictionary now the infaliable word of God? And to disagree with it a person should be condemn? Your statements are so agressive and intolerent over a defination in the holy dictionary.

Sound crazy doesn't it? Well I do have a point. The point; one can become self-righeous over science, religion, a dictionary, government, politics, law, business. People can lable and be intolerent over anything that they believe is factual. That is the human factor its not science, its not religion, its not politics, it not business but the human being that are in these that are the problem.

There are some reasonable comments in this thread for both side of the this issue. There are some hate fill comments and labeling in this thread. That is human nature and this thread speak volumes that people cannot agree on most issues.

Can one make a new world based on goose stepping; anyone that disagrees is consider a threat and labled as stupid a retard to be done away with?

We live at a time where there is more knowledge then every in the history of mankind and yet there is more hatard and intolerent then every before. People trust nothing they have no respect for anything but they want respect -- why?

It simple every insitution of mankind is being exposed as corrupt. No one thinks a person make an statement without an agenda or a bad motive. People are killing people because they had a bad day or was picked on in school.

It interesting I've been labled all kinds of things in this thread it actually funny to me. I am serious, I don't belong to any organized religion haven't in some 30-years., I never disgreed that religion wasn't going to be done away with. I simply said I believe in God. From that statement all kinds of assumption have been made.

I not bitter at organized religion although I had many bad experience with organized groups. I have meant so really good people in those groups that show love and kindness and are open mind people. I have meant people that do not believe in God and they have been good and kind people as well. I have looked at both side of the issue and the truth is people that want religion gone from the earth have the same spirit as hateful people in religion there is not difference. They cannot see any truth but theirs. They have a personal prejudice that runs so deep they feel they have the educated right to lable religious people as evil.

If I knew a Christian that acted like that I would have nothing to do with them. I wouldn't want them as a friend or a neighbor. Who wants to live with a bigot? So all these people leaving religion as stated in this thread are coming togather in groups that act like Christian I would not be around and this is going to be a better place?

I made a statement that there is enough blame to go around. All parts of human society have been responsible for wars not just religion. So I states science has been all wars. What was meant? Jee, who devolped the atom bomb and gases and all this great killing stuff we use on each other. And most war or world domination has come from the nations that had the best fighting equipment knowledge/science invented those war tools. Now we know it not science fault but the men that misused that science but we have no tolerence for religion that greedy men misused.

Again making the point humans can justify anything behind a good cause. If greedy science devolped a drug the killed your family then its exposed as corrupt does that mean we should outlaw science?

But when you talk about such holy things as science and look at the real facts in how it has also been misused and corrupted for greed look at religious fevor in this thread. Does that not scare a you? That people could become so self-righteous over science? Or any subject?

What is it about mankind that they find a subject and exalt themselves over their fellowman? They listen to the fact other men have given through education and books judge from those infaliable words and destroy others. Can anyone take seriously people that are corruptable and put infaliable faith in their words in any area of human life. Perhaps we need to outlaw life next?

People hate religion because men have misused it. After it is gone then we will still have men misused the dictionary - I mean who knows?

So a new world order built on intolerance and oppression of religion does not address that main factor of human nature.

Were getting closer! What you view as indoctrination isn't indoctrination to some people. What they veiw as your indoctrination isn't perhaps to you. Again every thing your stating on this thread in favor of not having religion and the arguments to support those beliefs can be used to support the beliefs of people that want religion.

I clearly realize what indoctrination is and there a thin line between teaching and going into indoctrination. I lived long enough to see many groups, nations claim not to be indoctrinated and do very evil things to other not of their group or nation.

There are many more religeous groups then Christianity the focus herein this tread seem to be on Christain not other groups. To state there is not a war against Christainity is not truthful. To state their is not a war between the two parties system of the United State is not truthful. Both are fighting for their beliefs in running the government it may not be define as physical violent but is a war.

Again this thread is about doing away with religion and the intolerance for it as stated herein. To believe religion is going to be done away with and a new paradise of freedom and peace for the human race will happen. Sound much like religion and much like indoctrination not base on fact. Once again your making blanket statements. I stated clearly that experience with god of God does not have to be Christian please re read my comments.

Your right it not about Christian their are many other religions that have hate and really don't care about your belief or mine for a better world. Please look at my comments.

I also stated that people without a personal spiritual experience will discredit people that have had one. What else can they do. Your beliefs that their is not a god is not superior over someone that thinks there is. You have no more proof that there is not a God. It is a personal judgment base on education that you got from someone else ideas.

Well, I appreciate your reply. If people don't find peace within themselves there will be no peace. God has and does acted in peoples lives and a person that has never experience God can only think it is a fair tale myth and discredit the person through an intellectual agrument.

That is a fact, so the two will never see eye to eye. When you tell a person that the Spirit person they commune with is not real - they think you are as crazy as what you think they are. Weither that spirit being produces love or hate it is real to those people who have experience it.

It is a fact of the entire history of man. That is why my friend it won't go away without violence on both side because it is a passion issue that has rage since mans existent. The two cannot agree one is based on faith with a real life experience for that person or group the other is base on intellectual thinking that as real to that person or group.

I wonder if there will be a state new age faith or if man will have a seperation between new age faith and state? I wonder if it will be taught in schools or outlawed? Or perhaps none of that will work perhaps the only faith that will be allowed will be in men or government or something? And how will they deal with violators of those rules?

But the really smart people in the know running things won't worship a man? We would all live in paradise and peace when the earth is fill with "no knowlege of God " and only smart people that knows whats best for mankind rules the rest of us.

May be they will finally create that elite super race and put the weak in gas chambers or something like that - right. But science has advance so far I sure we could just abort the ones that didn't meet the governments standards. Does that mean Government is playing - dare I say God?

When a persons motives is hatard of religion no matter what is stated that person will find a way to discredit it. Strange to me that people that want open minded world with no religion are so willing to use closed minded beliefs to destroy religion.

It is also strange they are the people wanting to do away with a different in beliefs. The beliefs most people hold in this country, that is, people of faith died protecting those that hate religion. I wonder if the shoes was on the other foot if they would measure up in this better world.

It also seems strange that people would be label retarded if they believe in God. Or for that matter to hold a view that religious people are stupid because they believe in God. I must wonder what the person view of human being are. I would suggest not very good and isn't that the point this is the type of material one builds a new world on?

And I must also wonder where people come up with destruction is the correct way to fix problems that sound just like dare I say religious doctrine. When people learn to love and accept the world will become a better place. Is that likely to happen? Highly doubtful when the world is far less forgiving of different veiws.

It also strange to me to live long enough to actually watch this world as people have become more educated less forgiving towards faith. We live in a much scary place then 40 years ago it not better it more bitter it is more spoiled it has more hate. It a much more demanding rude world everywhere. People will kill people over nothing. All this sexual freedom is really something where what really important in life is for a educated woman to shake her ass. College students go wild on spring break. Wow we come along way baby

There is enough blame to go around on both sides if you really are a open minded fair person. I don't like organized religion either, but I been in enough corporations and sales teams and seen the same us an them religious fevor enough for a life time.

Beliefs are beliefs long before christainty people were killing each other in our time in our times as well.

The issues isn't about all that now is it. Its about people that say some conduct is not correct according to the bible teachings. And we know that been the issue from the start of the human race and it will always be with us. There will be some one either religion or a government or a group by another name and they will enforce their beliefs and it will go to the point of oppression as it always does.

Thats what happens when people have freedom of choice and self-government. When people that have the power don't want religion they will use that power. People that have been enslave it should be of no real suprize often enslave some other group. It is power that corrupts and we know each generation thinks they have a handled on it that their way is new better and they have the right to enforce it on others that is what government is all about.

Religion will be done away with because it has done some really sick things. However, it is made up of humans and we must never forget we are all part of that family and we all share in some of that blame. Some of the worst people I have meant in this life had no belief in God. Some of the worst people I have meant in this life had religion. But I never meant a person that has loves and respect for all beliefs to be a bad person - yet..

I am one of those retards... I find it equally incrediable that people don't believe there is a God. However, I would never endorce any group that would suggest that we should do away with these people. Religion has take the position did/has it made it a better world? And if people that have been oppressed can't become better people more enlighten they are not better but the same as those they destroy.

I don't understand your point about Jehovah being fired? I don't think he had anything to do with the teaching of mans organization. No more then a scientist finding a solution to one of mans worst illness and a group sicko steal it and uses it to make a virus to kill millions of people.

That about like saying all science is bad because it created the nucler bomb. The honesty of science hasn't been a light to the world either. it has and is sold for the highest price during war for greed. And sciene has an equally good and bad reputation as does religion. How does hate create less hate? How does control create less control? How does blaming create less blaming? You see your missing the point people don't seperate religion from God and Faith they blame God for the religions of this earth. Just like you do by firing Jehovah. So with religion gone it does not mean people will have more faith. No they will not be allowed to have faith or practice their faith in any form.

So we have come full circle man says I can rule my life better then God can rule me. God says ok then do it your way. Mans says God help me because I made a mess of things. God helps man and gives him his Son. Man takes God's Sons words builds his governments and empires and blames God for giving him his Son and his word. Parent says to a child that has come of age I don't like what your doing that not what I taught you it is going to ruin your life. Child says I know better. Parent says ok I love you enough to let you try your own way. Child fines out mom was right after ruining their life. Instead of saying they were wrong child blames mom and hates her because mom didn't stop her from doing it in the first place.

God is the bloody rage people wipe their hands on for all their problems. What will happen when their is no more bloody rag to wipe their hands on. Well man was created in God's imagine ... who's next?

How do you see the world heading if all religion was eliminated?

many, like dawkins, think that religion is the root of all evil.

hypothetically, if all religion was eliminated and all people stopped believing how would you see the world in a few years?

with atheism on the rise do you think that society will improve or deteriorate?.

Well we may see it! There is a greater and greater push year to year to do away with religion. If you study the history of the world you will find that nations that become Christain provided more freedom and rights to people then those that are not Christian nations.

Yet, as we know none of them Christain or otherwise have not been oppressive in some ways.

Yes, they will find other reasons to kill each other politics, boaders, race and so on this is the history of man.

I agree religion will be gone wipe off the earh just as the bible states and for a short time people will rejoice in its destruction.

People that kill others find when the thing they hate is gone there is still hate but they have no one to project it on.

And that's the point Christ was not about changing politics, religion, groups, nations, he was about changing the persons. Religion or faith is not about physical it is about spirit and truth that starts with each person.

There was no physical place that God choose on this earth for his spirit to dwell but people. His spirit is love. When groups do not have God's spirit they do not have Gods love so they act like all groups without God's love "beast".

Religions do bad, on the other hand, millions of people that have faith in God and Christ do many good works throughout the world and provide physical and moral help to billions.

When that is wipe off the earth (and it will be) there will be know one to blame, no place to defer hate, no one to point fingers at, One can no longer blame God for all the mess on earth. (It will be mans own hate that wipes it off the earth) No place to get ready of sin anymore no one to look down on.

Each person will have to look to their humanly organization for help and protection their corporation, their government. The practice of faith will not be allowed and will be hated. Choice will gone, freedom of thought will not be allowed. This discussion will not be allowed...

And the better world without religion will exist only man made ideas and groups. Man will then blame the man made governments with the same hate they had for man made faith.

Jehovahs Witnesses were not taught to love their fellowman as themselves. They have been taught to hate false religion. So when they find their org. was false religion as well what to they have but hate for all religion.

The point is 99% of all religion from the start of man are man made ideas mixed with some truth. So the end of all religion is man destroying his own tower that he built and blaming God for building it.

So if man builds another tower without religion will it be better one, kinder, more loving, smarter, fair, more just or will it be the same old same old with a new face and a bad heart?

We have all the answers we taught them God will cut a stone from a mountain not on earth and it will hit all man made mountains(goverments represent mans ideas apart from God - self rule) and grow into a mountain that fills the earth with God's Kingdom

Man ways are corrupt they have always been corrupt he cannot govern himself without hurting others. How can a person take a little leaven and put into a new lump and not have the same mess?

It is strange blind hate towards religion is exactly what God said would happen 2000 years ago. And isn't it amazing that it was told man would make himself a god in the last times and every thing that he had built would become exposes as a fraud and people would lose faith in everything and distrust would be the order of the day.

We should take the knowledge we have of God and not assume God was wrong but men that built this false religion that we were associated with were. And actually find out the truth of God. Isn't strange the very judgments we hoped for all false religion has come up on first? And most of the people in false religion have more faith that God will do the right thing then we do?

Where does the individual Jehovah's Witness end and the Organization begin?

i am in search of comments on how best to explain the concept.

when talking to witnesses it is difficult to get them to accept the organization is responsible for anything.

the automatic response is to defer any error to an individual leaving the organization free from any blame.. it is like the organization is a powdered doughnut.

We trend to get bogged down into the little things instead of seeing the big picture!

Does God have two sets of scales for justices one for the JW's and one for false reglion (what they call Babylon the Great)?

Where does God's judgments start first God's house or false reglion? And why?

If people do not come out of their false religion will they be held accountable individually or as a group? Read about the seven congregations in Rev.

If a religion has any false teachings and we do not renouces those teaching our we held accountable by God on judgment day? (you will get some strange answers here)

Is God parital, that is, favoring one person or group over another - applying differents standards of fairness to one and not the other?

So if at some point Jehovah's Witnesses taught things that are not correct would you be open minded/ fair enough to apply the same standard of judgement that your group applies to all other relgions that are not Jehovah's Witnesses?

What would Jehovah's Witnesses tell me if I said: I will not be held accountable for the teachings of my religion because the leaders of my group make those teachings and they are closer to God then me?

I know God will direct those men to make the correct changes over time so I am safe because I associtate with this group.

In most cases they still won't be that open minded; most witnesses don't understand that God's judgment starts first with his house then to others. That our judgment will be individual as well as community.

But if your directed to one that has issue over the recent changes in the org doctrine and they know of ones that were mistreated because of those changes then fairness will be more important then arguing doctrine. People will argue the side of something to blindness as long as they are agruing they are not listening or thinking they are trying to find the best answer to refute you agrument.
