we all know that jw's don't baptize babies, but they will baptize them when they become a little older, like 9 or 10 in some cases.
my question is the following.
if they don't baptize children because they are too young, could they refuse someone that's too old?.
Baptizm is a sign of dedication, but the witnesses used it as acceptance of their teachings and to make sure your clean enough to be apart of their group. Baptism into a set of teachings and a corporation is not important anyway.
The question should be can God save people that are baptized into a corporation?

First you have to conclude there is a God to have this topic. If not then it man that cheats and they blame a make believe God.
On the other hand, if there is a God then it is His game and He makes the rules. So we can complain all we like, but we have no control over the rules! So which is it?

jesus, i noticed, did not answer some questions his friends asked him.
So it's a matter of taste one person likes vanilla ice cream and another likes chocolate! So what's the big deal people don't go to the point of hating someone with another taste?

most believers think that it's better to practise any religion than to act like an animal and not practise any.. even my dad who used to dislike the jw's when he was alive, told me once, "you're better off going back to that religion, than not practising any religion at all".
i'm a believer like he was, but it's funny how most believers will say that practising any religion is better than not practising any.. jw's wouldn't agree, because they think that only their religion is the right one, even though a wrong religion may have a postive influence on somebody's behavior and happiness.. the only thing a jw looks at is the carrot "eternal life".
they won't look at the good that may come out of practising another religion.. after my jw experience, i won't go to any other religion.

I think it is a misstake to single out one group when human reality is that people seek groups for support religious or otherwise.
It is through groups that things get done that is the fact of human history. The question for any person is what do you stand for?
If you are apart of any group will you compromise what you believe in to support the group?

I have never been envolved with any group religious or otherwise that don't use the same tools to keep things together.
It seems people are upset constantly with religion when every aspect of life is governer by the same tools.
The reason they are offend is because they want to blame something bigger then themselves.
Perhaps people are suckered because of their own needs?

People don't wast much time talking about things that aren't important. It seems the most important thing for most peoples on this forum is putting down God?

with so much hatred in society on all levels against most groups from religion to politics - is this a sign that society has an mental illness or something else?.

a friend of mine and i are in discussion on how a cult develops.
how is the foundation laid for such?
do the founders know they are setting up something that is intent on controlling others?
Sounds like all the tools big business uses toget people hooked into buying and giving their souls to money!
Perhaps people have their own motives for getting involved with an cult religion and cult religion uses those motives to meet their ends? And perhaps people hold some accountablity for being mislead as well?
