Loss of "privileges" as his only punishment? What if that was regular fornication between two consenting adults? Would they just take away "privileges"?

Just to get everyone they can into the cancer. They will study with teens, or even children, without their parents' permission if they feel it will result in a study. Studying a book full of curses on the whole human race has the most potentially serious adverse consequences of all things I can think of, and when someone alters it to fit a religion that goes totally against nature is even more serious. Even jesus, according to their own theology, was 30 when baptized--and he was supposedly raised in it.
Given the dire consequences of tying into such horrible energy, plus that they can and will steal everything from their victims (including their time), I believe that 21 is a good minimum age to study with this cancer (if one needs to be 21 to legally smoke weed, then why not at least that for something that is perhaps even more dangerous). And that assumes this whole scam can't be totally outlawed--along with the whole book of lies and curses, so they will not have that energy to push Noahide Law on the whole planet. (And then wonder why the age to study this cancer should be at least 21, or totally banned.)

highlights from Circuit Overseer Guidelines
by neat blue dog ini just finished looking through the circuit overseer manual, so here are some highlights.
first up, regarding circuit assemblies:.
if a brother is so extremely overweight that others would be distracted if he had a part on the program, good judgment would need to be used in deciding whether to give him an assignment.

And why would someone be morbidly obese in the first place? Usually, it is because of lousy metabolism, which is caused by not exercising enough, too many crash diets, or nutritional deficiencies. Someone that is so fat that they would stumble someone if given a part is also so unhealthy that they might have a heart attack during the part, which would be far worse. They need reasonable exercise, a sensible diet (and no crash diets that will only make things worse), and supplements. Iodine supplements would help, and since most of us are deficient in magnesium (and a deficiency there can cause heart problems), I would start there.
What about the structure of the religion that can make one fat, or keep someone fat or make them even fatter? Most of their "exercise" consists of driving to a call or several calls, sitting in on studies, and sitting in boasting sessions. They might walk short distances in field circus, but never the brisk walking they need. If they go to any organized program to get in shape, the hounders will nag them about that. And the pious-sneer diet consists of too much "phude" at McDonalds every day. Hardly what I would recommend for anyone, let alone someone that is morbidly obese.
And what about sleep? What sleep? Do they really need all those boasting sessions or to get that 200 hours of field circus every month, plus work several part time jobs? A lack of sufficient sleep helps keep many of those jokehovians fat, or make them fatter than they otherwise would have been. Not to mention, every time something actually works, it is usually associated with martial arts or a pagan ritual--both are banned. How can anyone lose even a small amount of weight if most effective exercises are banned, as is yoga?

And suppose that "fat" wife starts exercising and becomes fit? What then? Just another way of instilling hang-ups against anything attractive, plus another sickness working for everyone. It is never better to be morbidly obese than to be at a healthy weight, and physically fit. Not only does it look ugly, but it is bad for the health and makes life more difficult (which is perfect for the washtowel, since they can say how this morbidly obese tub of lard pious-sneered despite the struggle instead of the same person pious-sneering at a healthy weight, and in good health without the struggle.)

Money! How much did you "Contribute" To The WTB@TS When You Were A Member
by The Bethelite ini was in full time service for six years including bethel.
once i got out of bethel, i figured i had already given them six of the best years of my life (ages 18-24) working as a slave/drone in their factory, so i rationalized that i had given them enough... so over the next 27 years i would say maybe $200 bucks is it.
i think their whole "voluntary contributions" idea is biting them in the ass, because over all jehovah's witnesses are a cheap group people with a few exceptions.

I used to give them something like 50 toilet papers per a$$embly--and if they blew that, too bad for them. And, when they had one of those junk-build pledges, I gave about a cable-bill's worth (back in those days, a cable bill was only in the $30 area). I stopped doing that upon realizing I was getting negative value for it, and pledged not to as much as lift a finger for their new building or give even a penny. Within a few years (say, 1992), I totally stopped giving anything because joke-hova was giving me negative value.
Let them be dumb enough to try that today with a pledge form. I doubt they will understand what I write directly on the line where it asks how much I pledge to give toward the worldwide enslavement work. And it will waste a form.

If You Could Live In Any Era or Decade What Would It Be?
by minimus ini kind of like the 50’s and early 60’s because of the innocence and “happy days” outlook by that generation.
it seems most people were pretty innocent and real.. would you rather be living in a different era or is this century working for you?

I would like to see how things really were just before joke-hova stuck its ugly face in the affairs of the earth. No political correctness, no having everything held back so all you could hear was lies, no perennial emergency to keep serving that leech of a god that wants us all enslaved, no bibles or qurans (or churches or mosques), religion actually serving a useful purpose instead of reinforcing lies, spiritual workings actually working, and so on. And none of this having to give up my culture to fit in with outsiders that do not belong in this region because they were not designed to live here (or having missionaries sent to their regions that also do not belong there, and are not designed to live in their regions).
Back then, everything was purer. You had food that actually sustained life instead of drug companies' profits. You had water with no fluoride. The air was fresh, without chemtrails in the air or cancer stick smoke on the ground. There were no issues with cost of living. Even the language was pure--Sanskrit, and unadulterated Sanskrit at that. And the hebrew language--that curse of a language that was taken from Sanskrit and reversed to form curses on the whole planet, did not exist at all.

2024 A View Into The Future
by The Bethelite inafter many tv specials were the watchtower bible & truck society have been exposed as the biggest religious haven for pedophiles on the planet and the loss of hundred of court cases including (the last and biggest one involving the supreme court) the society finally files chapter 11.. the society must turn over all of their files of all known pedophiles.
this turns out to be bigger then anyone could have ever imagined with tens of thousands of their members being named many of whom have been in positions of power.. over 80% of their followers leave the mother ship and contributions slow to a trickle.. most of the society's properties are sold off and people are meeting in private homes and basements.
just like they did when the church was founded a 150 years ago.

They will be getting nothing from me, except an explanation in German as to why I cannot support any religion that works specifically to have the whole planet enslaved and ultimately occupied by reptilians (and by reptilians, I do not mean snakes, lizards, turtles, or crocodiles--I mean those nasty things that are ruining the whole universe). I no longer wish to lift a finger to help those things destroy all happiness throughout the universe--and the jokehovian witlesses are giving them plenty of help. And, it will be in German to give them double the headaches to decipher what I am saying.
Obviously, if I am not going to lift a finger to help them enslave this planet and destroy happiness through the whole universe, I am not going to lift a finger to help bail them out. If I have money to waste giving to the washtowel, I have money to buy some more silver.

Would You Stop Buying A Product Because of Political Differences?
by minimus inwould you stop buying nike products because you didn’t like their politics?
conversely, would you give business to a company because you liked their political stand on a matter?
would you stop watching an entertainer because you disagree with their political perspectives?

Only in the worst cases. Companies like Walmart consistently abuse their workers, ruin neighborhoods, ruin the environment, and drive product quality into the ground seeking lower prices. As I view top quality at full price a better value than things that are going to fall apart, ruin other things, or do a very poor job despite low prices, I would rather buy things that are more expensive and last longer anyways. All that means I will not shop Walmart unless absolutely necessary--and that they support ruining the demographics of the whole planet via their ads is just one more reason not to go there.
And there is the Top Ten list for supporting a certain country that no one is supposed to criticize (hint: it is prominent in the bible and quran). And, in general, they all make products that are junk. General Electric, at the top of the list, used to make decent products. You might have a GE appliance of 1950s vintage that has more life than that new GE appliance in the store today. Because of this, and because their quality has gone down the toilet so much, I will not buy anything GE--unless it is some antique from someone that happens to have a GE washer of 1950s vintage.
The other companies on that list are Coke, Pepsi (including and especially Starbucks, a subsidiary of Pepsi), McDonalds, Nike, Nestle, Intel, Motorola, Hewlett Packard, and Kimberly Clark. In the case of Coke and Pepsi, their products are full of high fructose corn syrup or aspartame. Nestle loads its products with monosodium glutamate, and I do not trust them not to put neotame in their foods (plus they ruin the environment so badly). HP and Intel produce rubbish products--but have fun buying a non-HP computer with a non-Intel processor (my computer, bought in 2006, is HP but with AMD processor and I am doing all I can to make it last as long as possible). Motorola is also rubbish. Nike and Kimberly Clark both charge full price for junk. As for Kleenex, I prefer a store brand and it does just as good.
Switches? I rarely drink soda at all--and I am more inclined to spend more for a soda that has real sugar, and does not come from Coke or Pepsi (or Royal Crown, for that matter) instead. Instead of McDonalds, you are better off going to Wendy's (and it's not just because "Where's the beef?") or Burger King (or, simply, going less often or not at all for fast, good-tasting poison). HP makes rubbish printers--I have one that simply will not come on (Epson is better, but still not perfect). I shop for L.L. Bean shoes instead of Nike or other high-priced shoes (they are about the same price, or even a bit cheaper--a surprise for such high quality). Better quality instead of a bigger name. And instead of Nestle, I prefer Hersheys, Mars, or some of the smaller companies that import chocolate from Germany.
And no, I do not waste my money on Gillette products. Disposable Bic razors last just as long (single blade razors are almost as good as those 5 billion blade razors), for way less money. They cost around $4 at full price for a pack of 10, instead of $20 or more for a pack of 4 or 5 Gillette.

WT Teaching That You Can't Leave Behind
by jhine inafter posting on another thread it became apparent to me that it can be difficult for some ex jws to totally shake off all wt teaching , even after leaving the org.
do you still feel guilty going into a church for a wedding or a funeral .
can you bring yourself to celebrate birthdays or christmas .

I don't like going into churches, but because I believe the whole bible is a book of black magic to destroy all humanity, and going to a church would tie my soul into that even worse than it already is. I do not want that, so I will not go to any church. For the record, I got rid of whatever bibles I could find, and if I find any more bibles in my possession, they are going on a quick trip to my local Dumpster. And that goes for jokehovian bibles, too.
Celebrating Christmas? As I believe that the real "christ" is actually the sun, and the sun's rebirth happens on December 25, I still do that. I didn't do that while I was a jokehovian witless, and had a similar extent of phobia for it as many do for snakes (which is also part of that worthless bible--the source of most of that snake phobia is the curse planted right in Genesis chapter 3). Now, I just go ahead and worship the sun, in the way that was originally meant for humanity. It is just observing the natural procession of seasons, not chopping someone's head off.
As for a blood transfusion, I still believe the best way to deal with needing one is to not need one. And much of the "need" comes from jokehovian activity (accidents during field circus) and the jokehovian lifestyle (fast, good-tasting poison for lunch every day is a good way to develop health problems, as is the stress and not getting enough sleep due to how much is asked of you). I am aware that there are incompatibilities with blood that are not in the ABO typing system, plus there is always the danger of getting AIDS or hepatitis ß. Plus, I do not want to waste blood for a stupid transfusion. I would rather it be on hand for when it is really needed, not wasted on something stupid.

Is It Israel or Palestine??
by minimus indoes palestine actually exist?
does israel have the right to exist!.

Israel is supposed to abide by the same rules as everyone else. Yet, why do they get away with so much that, any other country doing it, would result in heavy sanctions? Israel has its nukes. Didn't we go into Iraq in 2003 because they were suspected of having nukes, ruin that country and its government, and then find out that they didn't have the nukes after all? And Iran--why are we going in to stop peaceful nukes (as in, nuclear power) in Iran because of some treaty clause? Since when is Israel above reproach?
And, why is Israel above being criticized for things they deserve to be criticized for? Palestine today, the whole Middle East (including northeast Africa, to boot) tomorrow? Or, the whole of Europe? Where does this s*** stop? And, what about giving Hitler a FAIR trial instead of making questioning the holocaust or its extent a crime that can yield 20 year jail terms? Just that such harsh punishments for questioning something is more than enough for me to wonder if the whole thing is a lie. After all, the real truth does not need such protection to exist. Nor does the real truth need robots that defend it with "You are so bigoted" type comments in order to be sustained. Any more than did the washtowel "truth" need defending by extreme measures such as jokehovian witlesses take against anyone that question it.
As I see it, the truth offends anyone that depends on lies for sustenance.
