yes well she has here own agenda and its political, the opposition leader Abbot is a devout Catholic, and while he does not object to a royal commision, it was Abbott that sugested that not only the Catholic Church be investigated but ALL DENOMINATIONS, which is great because that would include JW.

It is OFFICIAL they want MORE MONEY : NEW ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
by raymond frantz ini just came back from the meeting .although the local announcements have been abolished recently as an item for the second part , an elder came on the platform to announce that the society needs more money and there is a letter on the noticeboard for all the congragation to read to this effect.
although the announcement was read half heartedly (this elder's daughter is an apostate ,it looks like he knows what's going on) the implictions are dramatic .
the society in brief,requests any brother or sister with funds sitting on personal accounts to loan them to the society ,he didn't go into any specifics but i will take a picture of the letter next time and make it available here .. i'm not amazed that they're asking for money ,i thought it will happen sooner or later .what i'm amazed is that 99% of the congragation are oblivious to the financial crisis that the society finds itself these days and the reasons why .i can see the future now .the watchtower will be the fist part of the babylon the great to go down in a blaze of scandals and financial troubles !.

by MC RubberMallet inmaybe these occupations are quoted to make a point, but it loses meaning when maybe 1% of brothers i know actually has these as jobs..

The Governing Body - their own worst enemy!

the process of listening to their talks for my "getting to know you" youtube video series, though draining, has been very enlightening.
i now feel i know some of their individual personalities a little better than i did previously.. then there has been the tumultuous events of 2012. it's been interesting to note the way the governing body has responded to some of these issues, and how in most cases their responses have been woefully inadequate or even counter-productive as regards their long-term interests.. for example:.

the latest evidence is the january 2013 watchtower which rolls out hugely predictable statements about not doing anything to upset one's (jw) family by, for example, being in email contact with a disfellowshipped witness.

the GB are in fear of losing control over the flock, and one of the main fears they have is those that have DA themselves because of their finding out the truth on the net, they don't want any JW in contact with any DF or DA person in fear of their listening to the truth about the truth. That is what I think.
