Address your letter to the presiding overseer at the last congregation you attended, send one to bethel and keep a copy. If you have anyone in the congregation that you can trust send them a copy of your letter stating the reasons why as it will be left up to the b/s to figure out, sometimes its taken personally.

The bottom line is its about control, with control the money comes, without that it goes. The WTS is going toward a more corporal organization, with a body of corporates running it like a business but with free labor.
Its all about control, especially of the young born in the truths, they are the new blood, the elders will become younger, and the young men will love the superiority, after all its a religion to most born in the truth, and these are the ones getting baptized in the western worlds.
i sometimes feel this spiritual void inside, like i'm standing at the edge of an abyss, and it's so much that i can hardly take it.
the odd thing about it is that i always feel it when i'm starting to get close to a lady, close enough to where those deep feelings start to arise - where a momentary look into her eyes feels like a thousand years of life experience and the ephemeral nature of life becomes most painfully plain.

i wanted to say thank you to the wbts for enforcing a 'no-contact' rule on all those that have left the organization.. only by experiencing first-hand my former best-friends treating me like a complete stranger (see 'garbage') for standing up for my own beliefs was i finally able to tell the society 'good-bye' forever and not feel guilty about it.. i know this was not the wbts's intention from the alienation practice.
it's intention was to make me feel guilty and lonely enough to come back to them.
however, it has backfired on them and finally given me my freedom.. thank you, society, for lacking kindness and understanding.

I have never seen a religious group as large as JW that get along in peace, shore they have personality clashes and others are not as loving as they should be. But go to a convention and see them all together in unity, all the different nationalities, clean and obedient and united.
that speaks volumes to me.
