  Why are congregations dissolved?

  only once in my life have i heard of a congregation being dissolved (closed down) for reasons of sin.. .

  has anyone here heard of congs being closed down?

  Has anyone here heard of congs being closed down? Why were they? How often does it happen? What is the protocol?

  Lazy teenager....need help before I lose it!!!

  i have a teenage daughter and she is very lazy.

  we have to get on her constantly to get her room clean, when asked about her progress, her answer is always"i am working on it".

  then when we check, it is usually worse than the day before.

  First I would like to congratulate you on your posting.

  My mother was a sadist (and a Regular Pioneer). She hated me from the moment I grew up and I knew it. For over 30 years nothing I have done for her has been good enough.

  I dont have kids so feel a little guilty offering advice. But here goes. Try and spend more time with her. Even if it means slightly less fancy stuff (I am assuming you do not live in poverty). What does she want to do. Give her some control in her life. Let her choose the next family holiday. Let her hire a movie or decided what to do when the family socialise together.
  
  With you working 5 whole days and your other half working 7 she may feel she needs more of you.

  I do hope I have not been too judgemental. Send me a private message if you want to shout at me!

  Hi Guys and Galls,

  I have been a happy member for a few weeks now and have just figured out that this site is owned and monitored by the Borg.

  Everytime I land on the homepage there is an advert from Google inviting me to BethelTours. From my limited online advertiding experience I reckon that 3% of the 400,000 daily users click on this advert. If just 1% go ahead and book then Bethel will be raking in at least a few thousand dollars a week.

  I thought the society had stooped to every low level but using a JW discussion board to generate extra income is just priceless!

  I await a Supreme One to disfellowship me.
