Are you serious? If you take the Bible at its word, men and woman have done far worse and have been forgiven. A one night stand after 7 yrs seems kinda reasonable to me. If God punishes me for this then I would not wanna serve him.

Suppressed feelings accounts for the main reasons in not having a divorce or a one night stand. Lets say I have a one night stand. Will my life fall apart. I dnn't think so.
In 5, 50, 500 years will anyone care. Even if armageddon ws true I would not want to live in a world with JWs anyway.

Growing up as a JW I'd surpressed my feelings, for all kind of things, for so long. I believe that to deny your wishes for too long will make you very un-happy. Of course you don't want to hurt anyone in the process but as I understand your marriage is basically over anyway.

What about my wife being honourable. Since I have faded I have lost every person I loved. I have no one who cares about my honour.Hurt my wife
What has my wife been doing for 7 years (I was and am not the perfect husband, but lets be reasonable here).

I just feel I have nothing to lose. Knowing my luck I will get run over on the morning of the affair!

Thanks for your input. After 7 very miserable years and the first year was not much better I feel I will have no regrets. Jah is not going to strike me down. My missus could try and slow down the divorce and I'll just get angrier. Life is too short just to sit and watch it go by. I am leaning towards going for it.
