Did anyone see Serena Williams on The Tonight Show

last night i happened to surf onto the tonight show.

bob newhart was the first guest, the second was serena williams.

as i'd never actually seen her before [not a sports buff] and all i'd heard about her was the various jw postings, i was curious.. first, she came off as totally natural to me.

JWinSF, to be perfectly honest i'm not really suprized. The fact is she has a lot of money now and because she has a lot of money the jws' will pretty much allow her to do anything and get away with it. If she goes into 'show business' she does...and they probably wont care. It just means more donations for them and they'll call it 'work.' The reason i say this is because i read of an article i don't know if it was on this website or another but it was talking about michael jackson and an interview with him. Apparently he still is a jw and goes out in street work. But seeing how he's MJ ...he wears an outfit (like in his halloween special thing of the big fat guy) so people cannot recognize him. See? I recall this article not too long ago. if i am mistaken by any chance let me know...so i can understand the full detail but from what i recall he said he does this, being an 'active witness' and making halloween music films *video*...interesting isn't it? i personally don't give a crap what he does and don't think he's any worse then me or anyone else but by the jw standard...wouldn't this be considered as hypocrasy, when one person is told 'if you go supporting halloween you'll be d'fed? And yet here is MJ. HEHE (says it like him)~FS

my house is at the end of a fairly busy street that dead ends in our front yard and then takes up again a few houses down.

i was trying to set up some email stuff for a client tonight around 10:30 when i heard some police sirens.

i stood up and looked out my window to see a pair of headlights quickly coming towards my house with the police behind them.

What "SIN" do elders respond to fastest?

maybe it's just me but, it seem like "elders" respond extremely quickly to "sexual misconduct" as long as it does not involve their own family members.

THE FASTEST way to get any elder to kick you out, or respond quicker...is when it's not even a SIN. You speak TRUTH to them...about who they are and what position they hold and that is a 'good for nothing servent that has no authority to judge' or speak to them in regards their religion being the 'disgusting thing causing desolation standing in a holy place.' Truth is the fastest thing they respond to...but sadly it's not a sin ...at all. I told one sister a message that she could not react to and got disfellowshiped asap.~FS

as a youngster raised in the "truth", i had my questions.

but anytime you ask a question that is unanswerable, you are told to just wait on jehovah.

as time passes, i believe that we store up a number of unanswerable questions that forces one to eventually think about everything.

However the 'root' of the post that which we all are talking about was the email:

You feel that because of ungodly standards or the outright rejection of faith (in God) the horror of 9/11 was allowed. As if a "vail of protection was lifted."

No actually it was 'warned...God backs off, then reap what you sow.' Stated here:

If someone wishes to do something that is not'good' but rather 'bad' they are warned...but if they ignor the
message repeatedly and continue to ignor...even to the point in which they do that which is 'bad' they reap what they sow yes?

If you really want to get to the very core of the problem (Not post, the post's core was 'how could God allow this to happen') please read my response here:

Actually we brought this upon ourselves. and God has nothing to do with this yes. For we were hewed out (Isaiah 51:1) of the rock (Christ: 1 Corinthians 10:4) As adam's spirit and ours were 'one' before (1 corinthians 15:22). We including adam were created through Christ being part of (or in union with) 'The rock' and yet we as well as Adam sinned knowing that we would die and reap what we sow.

sweetie i never said your ungodly (if you were implying this)...I am a good for nothing servent. I try very hard to serve others and do the best i can. For a while i was nto doing this and recieved discipline for it...I have learned my lesson and am trying now to serve others. If anything I am YOUR servent. And it is by means of undeserved kindness, love, mercy and life that i exist to serve you.

I bid EVERYONE peace and pray for the spirit of Jah and Jah-Eshua to be upon them. ~FS

No dear! never assume. For this is how religion began with assumptions of prideful men! As i said everyone is warned of the consequences but if they refuse to listen what else is He to do? It is up to the person to deicde whether or not they should watch a specific show or movie. I enjoy movies and i think their good entertainment, just as long as it doesn't make me do anything. IF it does...i should have not watched it and i am to blame. I understand what you are saying and agree that it is not right. They do what they do because they do not test out the inspired expression. They take the law and live by it. Those that live by the law are judged by the law ...those that live by the ransom are saved by it. The purpose of the law was not to kill people...it was to show what is 'right' from 'wrong.' if someone should steal the CONSEQUENCE was to give back more then that which he stole. Remember God WARNS us ahead of time what the consequences are. Because remember ' we are all deserving of Death' (Romans 3:10,11) but we are given undeserved kindness and life! In addition to show us from ' right ' from 'wrong' it also was to show us LOVE. Remember 'eye for an eye tooth for a tooth?' Those were the consequences of sheding innocent blood. But should the person be TRUELY repentant! LOVE conquers all! That is why Romans 13:10 speaks of this: "Love does not work evil to one's neighbor' therefore love is the law's fulfillment" Remember this is what the purpose of the law was in addition to show them from 'right and wrong.'

Once again earthling men failed to test out the spirit to understand TRUTH of the matter and it is one's fault that reap what they sow, Not Gods. Understand though, even though earthling men have done this and shed much innocent blood do not let this stumble you. For Jah himself has and will carry out His Word. Remember, those that live by the law are judged by the law, those that live by the ransom are saved by it. (Galatians 3:10) If we understand that we are deserving of death and repent and the law is fulfilled and ask for mercy for what we have done and practice love to all how much more PEACE would you recieve? This builds a relationship with Truth (Christ) that reveals love (God) to you, and by doing this does this not show to God that you seek Him out? Do not let the world's wrong doings turn your back on God and their stupidity to let you sin with your lips against the Holy one of Israel.

Last, but not least, the law was to show mercy that is extended upon us. "For the one that does not practice mercy will have his judgment without mercy. Mercy exults triumphantly over Judgement" (James 2:13) We all have sinned and sin but we must confess our sins and work on them to attain a level of peace that which we may recieve only from Love (God). God has not abandonded anyone but waits patiently for all to attain repentence.

Let he that has a listening ear, hear what the spirit of Truth is saying (Mt 13:43)~FS

I agree with you about the religion factor, however you misunderstood what the spirit of Truth has spoken. For it is written 'I am the way the Truth and the life, no one goes through the Father except through me' (John 14:6) ...All religion claims to be Truth as the spirit on this website has repeatedly said. Keep in mind ...test out the inspired expression for it is written in John 10:8 "All those that have come in place of me are theives and plunderers; but the sheep have not listened to them" ...Remember what Truth is? (John 14:6) It is the Christ. And if all religion proclaims to be TRUTH...then they are coming place of Him that which IS Truth. They are theives and plunderers. Also luke 21:8 "He (Christ) said: "Look out that you are not misled; for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, 'I am HE' ... (and here's the message:) Do not go after them." I bid you peace and hope that Jah and His Son Jah-Eshua bless you for your efforts to seek out Truth (the Christ). I thank you for bringing out my error in not posting this in addition to that which ahd been posted...i failed to address that I agree with the message of the email...that which speaks that God is not to blame...but i do not agree with the religion factor. I agree with the email and about the message. I present this information with love and not to start arguements but rather answer questions that are brought to everyone on this site. We are told to love our enemies in the bible by Jah-Eshua yes? We are told to 'test out the inspired expression to see if it originates with Jah-Eshua or not,' yes? (1 John 4:1-14) How can we blame God when He so abundantly made it clear that he does not approve or slaughtering innocent lives? Who really is to blame if these people say they did this 'hate crime' in the name of God yet they themselves did not sit back and 'test out the inspired expression' as God instructed us to do when recieving whatever message they recieved that they did NOT test out but accepted it without question? As far as those that 'sit back and go to paradise at six flags instead of standing up and fighting,' what have you done to prevent this 911 from occuring, except posing questions and demanding to put God on trial when in actuality God has already made it clear what we ought to do in order to prevent this? (test out the inspired expression, be loving towards our enemies and be Christ-like or God-like. I hope this brings light to this post and the message presented is not overlooked because of Truth about us that is concealed within but rather accepted. God definately is not to blame for this...If anything we are, including those that did this. If i have spoken untruthfull, I will render an account for it, But if i speak Truth...then why should you or anyone else blame God and/or his messengers? Now here is where YOU'RE faith comes in...are you going to 'test out the inspired expression?' OR are you going to be like the terrorist and not do this and persecute the Almighty therefore sin against Him, His Son and the messenger? Seeing how Sin is SIN regardless of what it is...it is equal are we any different from the terrorist by this standard if we're sinning against the most high and putting Him to the test and blaming Him for this? ~FS
