You don't need to disprove anything. The burden of proof is on them. On most of their claims, they are found wanting whenever they try to prove them. Let them be the ones on the defensive.

How do I disprove "New Light"?
by DarkFireWolf ini currently am a jw and my parents are too.they seem either confused or dislike it when i raise questions and recently, when i questioned them about 1925 and 1975, i've been told it's changed due to "new light.
" i don't remember nor do i have very much knowledge of "new light.".
this "new light" just dosen't sit with me and neither do the false prophecies.new light first of all, breaks a scripture in deut.

Is CoC out of print?
by AK - Jeff intoday i was looking for my copy of coc, and unfortunately it has come up missing in action.
perhaps i lent it to someone and forgot to whom.
whatever the reason, i began an online search for a copy to replace mine - and lo and behold, the copies i found available were priced from $35 or higher, and those places that advertised it at a lesser cost had it marked 'unavailable'.. i am not worried about replacing my copy - i have read it several times.

If they do that it will keep popping up as a free download in a lot of places out of reach of WT lawyers. Bet on it.

i've got a jw at my house right now (unexpectedly) who is talking to my husband.
he keeps on bringing up that only jw's have universal love....that if you go anywhere in the world, you can mention you're a witness & you'll automatically be welcomed and accepted by fellow jw's.

He's saying you cannot find that with any other group.
He lied about that. He made it up because he is not personally aware of every group that exists in the world, and what they believe and practice. The honest thing he could say, if he was not a corrupt liar, is that he is not aware of any other group that has universal acceptance of other members.
Fact is, if you are a ham radio operator you will find acceptance in any other country and community that you travel to. They will welcome you with hospitality, and assistance at setting up to do your ham radio hobby. Many ham radio expeditions rely on this universal fraternity to accomplish their goals, though it is often experienced by individuals. Plus, they don't shun you if you get out of the hobby.
I have heard that freemasons are pretty tight this way, but I am not one so have not experienced it.
