universal sovereignty is pretty much the whole explanation for why god permits suffering, correct?.

why would a god of love make it last so long?

i hope these images work below.. i was at the laundermat, watching this lady do her "street witnessing".

these photos were actually the most attentive she was b/c she was wondering what the hell i was doing taking photos of her.. for the hour i watched her, she talked to nobody.

when i walked by earlier i made eye contact and smiled and she avoided my eyes.

if anyone has more recorded talks that have as much idiotic reasoning as the higher education talks, as well as the same higher education talks that have been posted, but from different assemblies, i would love to have them..

just a thought i had earlier and mentioned in a comment on a thread..

but i love how the yearbooks and videos jump all over how jws suffered in the name of god and these examples of their faith through ww2, but the malawi massacre is glossed over..

if they were right for their decision they made for the brothers in malawi, don't you think they'd be making messes in their pants at the excitement of showing the world how faithful they were amidst the tyranny?.

Dreams of KH, Assemblies, etc.

so, i attend more meetings than most jws with all the dreams i continue to have regarding the meetings and assemblies..

usually the dreams aren't nightmares, but i'm supposed to give a talk and i'm given what i'm supposed to say and i tell the brothers there's no way i'm getting up there and giving the talk unless i can go off the outline..

most of the time, the dreams bleed into other areas of my life, like last night i was at the assembly and i saw this supposed life-long 'friend'....

remember them days @ dcs where we'd all get up at some god awful hour to make hoagies for the lunch time crowd?.

since my copy of the book, eh hum, found its way into the garbage and i need to purchase another copy i can't reference it at the moment.. .

can someone clarify for me, in the malawi and mexico chapter(s), 1) the jws were a cultural institution in order for the society to be able to own real estate and if they were a religion, then they wouldn't own the property, or something close to that, right?

2) most importantly, were there some big real estate transactions happening in mexico during the malawi massacre where the society didn't want to do anything to rock the boat on those?
