Is it just me or does time seem to pass so much faster when you no longer endure meetings or field service. Now that I am starting to get myself together life is good! In fact life seems so much better and good things are starting to happen. Ahh gotta love free time

Just Read the Silent Lamb website.. sooo Disgusted!!

i finally found my way to the silent lamb website, and am at this moment shaking with disgust and anger.

i know from experience that the organization covers up child abuse issues, and protects the abusers.

i just hadn't read anything like this before.

Silent Lambs was one of the first web sites I saw prior to leaving. It totally disgusted me and left me completely shocked and speechless. I thought I was in God's organisation and didn't think this happend. This web site was the main reason I started having serious doubts and made me free. If we could get more JW's to see S/Lambs web site a lot would leave!

So much for being in the Truth. You only find out the truth about the truth when you leave.

I feel so messed up now I have left that I still don't know what I believe. They mess with our minds so much that when you leave you feel totally confused about everything.

i was molested by a jw.

he was a young man about 19 yrs.old and he went to bethel after molesting me and i was only about 12 or 13 yrs.old.

i have never told anyone because i was so afraid of being disfellowshipped for letting this happen to me.

Welcome Deer!!!

so sorry that this happened within supposedly gods only true earthly organisation!!! I am new in this place too and so far the people are genuinely caring and will help in any way they can! I reckon the people on here are more friendly than some in congregations. Maybe most of us on this board are the ones that are too smart for the WTS teachings.

PS Almost finished Crisis of Conscience by Raymond Franz - anyone who hasn't read this must grab a copy (to the old members on here yes there is many of us new ones that haven't read this yet)
