  i have been inactive now for over a half a year, and i am just now realizing that there was not one thing i enjoyed about being a witness.

  i enjoyed my friends and association with witnesses, and still do.

  but i didn't enjoy one thing that we were supposed to do, not one.

  Miss nothing at all. Hated the meetings, field service. DC and assemblies just annoyed me. Hated how they went for so long. Like why the crap did they have to go for 3 freaking days. The people are all fake. Had a great friend who wasn't so great a friend as he ratted on me when I hinted at doubts in confidence to him. The best part is I no longer go at all and even better is my parents love me and wouldn't dream of shunning me - gotta feeling they have doubts LMAO. I resent the borg for their deceitful ways and how they made us feel we were better than others.

  recently i have noticed that a couple of my friends that are jws, especially this one guy that i play sports with.

  in the beginning he was just there because of a friend, but later on he came more often and we became friends.

  from the start, i knew there was something different about him.

  Let your friend enjoy his time outside the religion. When other JW's enquire about him, don't freely give information on what he does, otherwise his family will pull him back in the safe surrounds of the religion and won't allow him/her to associate with outsiders.
