one scripture you will not hear during the part is the one scripture jesus himself spoke of small groups getting together, this one:.

matt 18:20 "for where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there i am in their midst.".

Feel for the guy taking the call. WTS should be ashamed of themselves for not training the people who answer the phones. Seriously, there was no telephone skills at all. Simple things like "do you mind holding" and "thanks for holding"

so, i just saw a story on the news, young mom has breast/bone cancer.

so her friends arranged a car wash to help pay for alternative treatments,,,$1k 2x a week she needed.

I agree "known by their love" is complete rubbish - it doesn't exist.

Had a elder come over a few days ago and I mentioned to him about the lack of charitable things that the borg does. I said how Jesus showed compassion by helping the poor etc. Said that is what JW's should be doing blah blah blah. Same ole response about the help from the borg in the event of a natural disaster.

This is not christian.
