Jehovah, the God of Justice, Executes the Wicked
by TMS inthe phrases still roll off my tongue, "a god of tender mercies", a god in whom there is no injustice", a god who "protects the little one.".
in spite of those worn out platitides, if i walked in to a court room and saw the name "jehovah god" in metallic letters on the door, i would ask my attorney to make a motion to have the judge recused.
i would prefer to take my judicial chances with any ticket-fixing, bribe-taking, alcoholic, mafia-controlled human judge than face the uneven, irrational and obscene judicial decisions made by god jehovah.. i cite the case of king david of israel.

Which church?
by faundy ini don't feel comfortable living as an atheist.
i believe the world is far to complex and humans are too incredible to have just occurred.
therefore, if i was to attend a church, which one should i consider?

Just my two cents, but if it is God you are seeking,
I doubt you will find him in a building made by men who have different and varied opinions about what he wants, and what he wrote..
Read different versions of the Bible,
read the apocryphal books too, just incase they were inspired too by god but were not included in the Bible due men's agenda.
Try other religions too, really, all are the same road...just different ways of getting there based on the premise that god exists,
I don't think he would be picky about how he is worshipped...but I could be wrong.
Try prayer...it works for some, but you might have to be extra special to be listened to....
unless you believe that suffering is part of god's plan for many people before he relieves them of their misery and takes them to heaven...

Thanks everyone!
I wasn't really complaining about the holiday itself, more about what was going on
on that day.
The stores being closed only made that day feel longer and more like a prison sentence,
I could not wait for the night to end and morning to come.
