  so today i'm driving home and a block from my house there's a boy on the ground.

  he'd been hit by a car while riding his bike.

  everyone had stopped and i ran up to help if i could.

  That is truly sad. I would say though that even most die hard witnesses would not act like this. I dont think my family would do something like that in an emergency.

  i know there have to be a lot of men out there who can't pee while in a crowded public restroom (bathroom).

  personally, the more people who surround me while i'm standing at the urinal, the more difficult it is for me to pee.

  i've just been sorting out various paperwork and going through the filing cabinet.

  as well as every pay advice i've ever had (20+ years worth back to '83) i also have every bank statement, every cheque stub and, erm ... a big wad of atm receipts going back at least 10 years !

  i just can't stand to throw things away for fear that i may need them one day!!.

  I wish I had this problem. I hate junk and I have a bad habit of tossing things out on a regular basis and then looking for it a couple weeks later. Not that I'm a neat freak or anything but I just hate having junk piled up in the house.

  just so you know, the stereotype is true... ALWAYS

  thats actually a common misconception. having dated black, white and hispanic guys I can tell you its not always true.

  I never could understand how men could whip out their you-know-whats in front of other guys they dont know and pee . Its no wonder you freeze up! Men are so wierd!

  and who is it that makes the judgement as to whether the childs parent is in the 'good supportive parent' class or the 'bad abusive parent' class? this childs mother, while disappointed was ready and willing to support her daughter and help raise the baby.

  I dont understand why they wouldnt contact the parent. If the child were caught smoking in the bathroom or writing on the walls or cheating on a test they would most definately let the parent know. What do they think the harm is in giving the parent a chance to talk to their child about what to do? How can that decision be left up to a 14 year old kid?

  i saw my family this past weekend while visiting my home state for a few days.

  its almost comical at this point how terrified my own siblings are of me.

  like they cant even look me in the eye when they talk ....its so sad.
