Ven, i think i know what you mean. i feel sometimes like i shouldnt tell all (i havent yet) not because i dont trust the board, i do pretty much, but because of how it makes me look to everyone. i dont want people thinking i'm crazy or too scary or wierd to want to be around. but thats how i am used to thinking whenever i was in the world. i never told anyone anything about me out of fear of looking stupid or wierd but here it seems so far that people understand and many have been there.

mouthy, thanks you are so sweet. yea i think its definately 'where we have been'. no one in the world has been able to understand me to this point. hey, you havent seen pictures?? cool! remind me next time were in chat or email me.

flower is a newly adopted sister. she likes this family best out of all the ones she been sent to. She hopes this one will keep her and not send her back like the last ones she has been bounced from.

oh and she is a bit of a basketcase, as they find out when she sits down to the dinnertable with a straw in each nostril.

thats kinda funny you mention c.s.lewis. i was listening to a talk today by a christian and he was quoting the same author. i guess as long as there is life there will be more than one opinion/conclusion to the same information. thats what makes life interesting. (wow, did i say that..woohoo! breaking away from dubville)

I know it doesnt matter technically but when I asked this question originally I didnt know there was not any real answer to be had. I had a mixed up jw-type view of athiests. I was asking for truth or at least reasonings so I could settle things for myself. I realize now that the answer is complex and may not even be out there.

I realize now that you are right it doesnt matter what some one else believes and if they are right or wrong or if I am right or wrong. As long as we are all good decent people.

i havent mentioned any specific situation, there have been several..most have been worked out. but to be honest the problem is with me and my taking things too personally and reading too much into peoples words and actions sometimes. i shouldnt do that but like i said sometimes i cant help it! if someone doesnt want to talk to me for whatever reason that should be their right and shouldnt make me feel bad about myself or be any reflection of my actual worthiness. thats the struggle..getting better with it though.

ok, i know this is going to sound paranoid so forgive me in advance but you said.. "I hope we're all worthy of the trust you've give us!!!!" do you think i trust too much then? do other people here not share so much or trust so much? why wouldnt you be worthy of the my trust? i admit i havent gone through the archives and read everyones stories that has been here a while so i dont know how much people are sharing of themselves. i just felt safe enough to share a lot..not good?

LOL this is too funny! I usually only raised it enough so my mom could see I was trying to answer but not high enough for the conductor to see it. Then when I was older I was one of those people that only raised their hand when it was time to read a scripture.

Its funny though all the pioneers in our hall had the number 4..wonder why that is.

okay.. i apologize if this is too last minute for everyone who is interested in coming, but it appears that this saturday evening is a good time (for most of you) to have our first annual philly phest.. holler if you are interested in attending and your name is not on the list below.

however, if your name is on the list below, please confirm if you can or cannot attend.

Tina, you were totally justified in getting upset yesterday..that only hurt a little especially since you apologized so quickly. i didnt think much of you when i was talking about being rejected here. i could tell by how you handled the situation that you are a good person and caring. no need to be sorry.

Tatiana, thanks he is adorable isnt he? thats one subject i cant help but brag about. lol You described what i was trying to say earlier when you talk about picking apart someones words or actions until you are convinced that you were the most hated person in the world. Man that is so what i used to do! And then other days someone could have called me the worst names in the book and I would be confident and secure enough in myself to not even think twice about it after shutting them up with a witty reply. It sucks to be on such unsure footing. Thanks for the kind words.

Qadreena-I'm better! I crashed a week ago but felt better after a couple of days. Now I'm not so high as before so maybe that is a good thing..not so far to fall.
