egg and i were treated out to dinner three times last weekend by out of state visiting relatives.

just found out last night that they don't believe in tipping, at all!

we suggested the places to eat and frequent those places ourselves.

You need to start reading the threads here. I'd start with the "Best Of" section if I were you. The biggest problem you have is that you are "studying" with JW's. This is a mind control group that most of us here have gotten away from. Run, run like the wind!

Call from elder

i received a call a few hours ago from an elder.of course he didn't call me to ask how i was or if i needed help.instead he told me that "the youth and some older brothers" of my congregation will gather (at another elder's house,you see 2 elders to "get a hold of the situation") to talk about the "internet,facebook etc dangers".i told him that i will go.hmmm...it's going to be an interesting conversation..

i want to preface this by saying that i don't judge any of you and i believe in the right of freedom of speech and freedom of religion, including your freedom to not practice one.. however, i'm finding a trend among some ex jws here.

NEW PUPPY - names?

well we are getting a new pup and i'm not set on a name yet.

it is a sweet baby girl cairn terrier (like toto).

she is wheaten, which is a blonde color.. she will be coming home to big brother jinx (meaning magic charm or spell), who is a red brindle color.. i have thought of many names but can't decide.. i really like gypsy (goes well with jinx), but don't like it for such a blonde pup.

I LOVE LOLA!!! It was one of the first on my list but Lenny doesn't like it. :(

Ginger would work because she has a little red in her too. I had a dog named Gracie so I couldn't go with Grace. I do like Sunny, it is a happy name.

I thought about Ginger because it's one of my favorite names and I love everything ginger, including ale and altoids. I thought about Little Miss Sunshine because I love that movie, and I could call her Sunny for short, which would be good for a blondie.

Ideas or votes are welcome.
