please sign this e petition at this newspapers website.. an afghan journalist has been sentenced to death for reading an article on womens rights.

this is outrageaous imo.

we in the western world take freedom of speech as a given, this brave journalist has been sentenced to death for questioning why the rights of women should be curtailed by bigoted men in his country.. i was so sad and upest that i am posting the link here http://www.independent.co.uk/ to the newpaper in the uk spearheading a campaign to put pressure on the afghan governmet to overturn this egregious judgement.

I could never figure out why it was our "sacred duty" to follow what the Governing Body said, yet they claimed to be infallible. First I tried to dismiss the inconsistancy and thought I was just too dumb to get it. But it gradually bothered me to such an extent (especially after the April 07 WT) that I decided to investigate their claim of being the faithful and discreet slave class once and for all.

I could have almost written that word for word. When I read in that issue how grateful I "was" for the FDS because if not for them I would know little or nothing of Bible truths a red flag went up that I could no longer ignore. I decided to find out why I was supposed to believe every word they uttered.

I got on the internet, found out about the U.N., the hidden pedophiles, Mexico/Malawi, the inconsistencies with the blood issues. I found JWD within a few days if I remember correctly.

I never went back to another meeting and I never will.

Weird Family Storys

ok mymom's grandfather had 3 sons wyman jr, richard,and david my grandfather.i just heard a story about wyman jr that grossed me out big time.wyman jr had a daughter carol who had a half brother denny.denny and carol grew up together.carol didn't know her father.when carol was about 18 or 19 her brother denny got married.they had lived together all there lives.carols mother was dead and she had no one else to live with.so carol went to california and met her father wyman jr for the first time.she moved in with him and his second wife.carol got pregnant by her father wyman jr.. now my father told me that carol also knocked up by her own half brother/son.. her excuse for getting knocked up by her own father was that she never knew him so she didn't have a father daughter relationship with him.. my mothers family was from west virgina..
