  The end of the innocence.....

  so now i'm 50....in a few months....51.....there are definite perks to getting older.

  lessons learned are hard, sometimes brutal.

  when you survive one after another....innocence lost, wisdom gained.

  I'm heading over to the hospital now. Mom and Dad will be taking the little one home today. He will be wrapped in the same blanket that all three of my babies went home in and Shannon's other two as well. Baby homecomings are so exciting!

  there seems to be a variety of defintions on the net so what does "soul mate" mean?.

  My daughter Shannon had her baby this evening. Ashton weighed in at 6 lbs. 6 oz. and is 19 inches long. He's gorgeous! Mom and Dad and Baby Boy are all fine and healthy.

  The Presumption of Divine Appointment!

  the watchtower society has frequently denied that they are divinely inspired prophets.

  yet they demand they be considered as if inspired prophets, not even allowing the flock to question or have doubts about any of their teachings without coming under scrutiny.. .

  similarly, many of our beloved active jws--although knowing full well we don't recognize the society as any sort of divinely appointed agency--still expect us to act as if they are.

  i had the pleasure of meeting a young man at a party, he was so into the music...it was amazing watching him.

  I'm addicted to dark chocolate myself. I love little kids and old folks. I am a fan of bubbles, cotton candy and the zoo. Water makes me ecstatic, waterfalls and the ocean especially but any body of water, even a hot tub, swimming pool or shower. I love to be immersed in water, it's sensual. I love to hike and be in the woods any time of year but the fall and winter are my favorite times for hiking. My favorite thing in the world is a road trip. Life is beautiful!

  Einstein on God....Rare Letter At Auction

  this rare letter gives us a good insight into the 'religious' views of einstein, oft quoted by mainstream religionists in the hope that they could glean from him some allusion to his belief in a conventional 'god'.. why his views on god or even the rear end of marilyn monroe would be of much interest has always eluded me, but it is just as well that we all know that einstein did not believe in any god, at least not in the conventional sense, so that defenders of the bible and a god free of sociopathy are not tempted to haul his einsteined majesty before the court of debate again.. http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/articlenews/story/ctvnews/20080513/einstein_letter_080513/20080513?hub=scitech.
