Hey Black Sheep,
I just downloaded it again from sendspace and it was crystal clear. Don't know why you're having trouble getting it. Sorry about that.

an old acquaintance way back from the h20 discussion board days has given me a link to a talk given at an assembly by the then district overseer duggan, that he had recorded on a cassette tape.
amazingly, he still had the tape and made it into and mp3 file and has shared it.

Hi Leolaia,
I think I do have the entire talk on the cassette that I extracted the part from. I will have to check to see if it's complete from beginning to end. I don't think that I've listened to the complete thing since the day I recorded it.
However, I'm not sure if I would have a way to share the entire thing since it would require so many MGs. The file you listened to was about 4MGs. I no longer have the means to make a copy of a cassette, although I once did have a copier. Seems that the cassettes are all but extinct.
The way I made that MP3 was to play the cassette into a microphone that feeds into my recording studio, then it converts it to a MP3 if I choose. I'm not sure but I think I might be able to make a CD that way, of the entire thing. I would need your mailing address to get it to you, of course.
Let me know if you would be interested in doing that if I find that it can be done. Of course I wouldn't charge you anything as long as no one exploited it for profit.

A tip: If you do choose to download the file from sendspace.com, click ONLY on the box that says " Click here to start download from sendspace ". There are a number of confusing places to click, so avoid the confusion by clicking only the box I referred to. The right box has a blue background, with blue lettering. If you click the wrong "Download" or "Play" or "Play Now" button you will download things you aren't asking for.

I just now put a copy of it on "sendspace.com" as you requested. The link for downloading it is: http://www.sendspace.com/file/jkkdrw

I noticed that the link I gave is not clickable. I can't figure out how to make it clickable. Someone help please.

@ kurtbethel,
I followed Gwen's instructions exactly, and had no trouble at all downloading the file.
It appears that there were a number of Circuit Servants who believed the end would come in 1975, and they made statements in their talks at Assemblies. I remember hearing our Circuit Servant say that we had only "33 months left". (It was either 33 or 32 months left, I can't remember for sure which it was). I just happened to have had my tape recorder going, and so I still have that on cassette tape.
from their literature as source.
i did some searching and was surprised that i couldn't find them referring to those who simply quit and/or speak their doubts as such..
Wazza matta wif yo I?
this material is so important that i felt compelled to recommend it even though it costs a few dollars.
while you're reading what this sick child was put through at the hands of ignorant religious zealots, i think you will feel the emotional pain and anger i did.
how in the world can the witnesses in this child's world believe that they have love for others, when by their actions, they demonstrated that they don't.
For Etna:
You had mentioned that your son "couldn't stop bleeding" after his tonsils were taken out. I spoke with a family member yesterday that knows of a boy who had a similar problem after having had his tonsils out. The boy was still bleeding the day after the surgery so his parents took him back to see the Doctor that same day. He was bleeding "so bad that they had to burn the wounds closed. However he never had to take blood." How long did your son bleed before he saw the Doctor again?

Can you really bleed to death from having your tonsils taken out? Wow! I didn't know that.
A question: Hasn't there been a change in the Watchtower's stance on accepting blood transfusions? Isn't blood "fractions" considered permissable now, just not whole blood? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the blood "fractions" that are deemed permissable add up to being WHOLE BLOOD? If that is true, then the Watchtower has in effect reversed its stance on blood transfusions - BEFORE: Blood transfusions are wrong. NOW: Blood transfusions are okay.
about five years ago, john williams came to philadelphia, ms as a visiting bethel speaker for our special assembly day.
i was well acquainted with him, as he had been to my kh before as a special weekend speaker, and also to a neighboring congregation.
in his afernoon talk, he goes off about social network websites and he made this statement: "brothers, make no mistake about it, myspace is no place for christians".
"Wouldn't you rather live forever playing with lions"
Anything's better than dying.
And, yeah, I need a pet lion. So what's that to you?
