Do you lick the lid of life??
by ilovegravy inok, so there`s a tv ad doing the rounds in the uk about yoghurt and its strapline is "do you lick the lid of life?
" so it gets me thinking.
to my knowledge, and i could be wrong here, but as far as i know, yoghurt in cartons is the only food in which our instant reaction is to lick the lid...i can`t think of any more ...can you?.

Sorry to hear of your experience. The strange thing is that when I was "in" I did consider the people I associated with as friends, but when you do fall away, its funny how conditional it all is. No religion, no friends. Ive realised a true friend to me is someone who will be there for you despite any differences. So thats me playing scrabble by myself for a while then....boo hoo...

Did you like Pirates 3 : At Worlds End (Spoilers possible)
by free2beme ini went and saw this movie sunday and i admit, i was not expecting much.
i liked the first one, a ton.
i thought the second one was too long and boring, with all sorts of new information that was so off the plot of the original, that you felt like it sort of ruined the original.

It was ok I suppose. I like how Mr Depp mirrors himself on the great Keith Richards..how about for Pirates 4 casting the aging rocker as a long lost brother to Captain Jack. Two Keith Richards on the screen at the same time would be brilliant....

Ganache, truffles, Wine? Anybody got a kiss for me?
by Sparkplug intonight i made a most delightful ganache with my daughter.
she and i had a lot of fun.
at the end we started stuffing the truffles with blueberries.
