  " a case study for this statement can clearly be evidenced by the governing body of jehovahs witnesses.. the gb present themselves as lovers of truth and righteousness who are the only persons on this planet who speak for god.

  this doctrine is at the very core of the beliefs of jehovahs witnesses and is one of the few that cannot be rationalized away by wts apologists.

  Unstinking real! The difference between the pope and the FDS is that while the pope says outright that he is infallible the FDS say they are fallible but expect what they write as coming directly from God. In fact they often say we have the Watchtower thus God is still speaking to us.

  i dont know if this is what you might think of as funny, but my dad used to tell people he was shaking the dust off his feet as Jesus directed if they didnt what to listen to his message.

  when the time comes for being judged in perfect conditions we will still have ridiculers picketing those who know god's word.

  jesus planted a great seed for us all; why not take advantage of that now by learning instead of blaspheming?.

  the governing body may be too old to teach sex education.

  but they are wise in other matters.. i have made a new topic since i slaughtered the book in the last topic of raymond franz.

  do not forget that he made a mistake in being a 100% governing body thinker.. no organization at its early stages can live up to jehovah's expectations and no one is perfect.. please list some good ideas, ethics that the governing body has done here.

  I think he is just saying there must be some good qualities in the GB and is hoping someone will point out one so he can feel good about remaining a JW.

  would just like to say that i have spent hours reading material on this web site.

  just would like to also say that i am still one of jehovah's witnesses.

  if jehovah's witnesses are truly distructive and to familys as well then i would like to know please, how on earth is the association of brothers going to stay together, if it is really destructive?
