Aztec:
Is it the Carnal-Minded Babes in Christ Class?
Really, this is unacceptable conduct on your part. Don't you attend TMS at all? If this persists, I will have to call your congregation and arrange for a remedial BS. Please ask for the pre-underlined copies of material if the underlining is what is distracting you.
Here is what you doubted was genuine:
"While the few 'escape,' the majority of professing Christians, sincere, earnest, zealous, in their way, though they be, are yet, on their own profession, not entirely consecrated, and do not wish to be. They are willing to take the Lord as a partner, and defer a little to his wishes in their acts of life. The partnership is composed of Christ, the world, and SELF; and these three modify the life and bring it to a 'luke-warm' condition. But to cast out the world and to debase self so that the only controlling power is Christ, is to break up all partnership, and brings to the condition Paul expresses: 'For me to live is Christ,' because Christ reigns supreme. This class will be overtaken by the 'day of the Lord' unprepared. Because, 'overcharged with the world, self, and the cares of this life,' they are not watching, and are therefore taken 'unawares,' and as in a 'snare' (see Luke 21:34,35), 'and they shall not escape.' This class, sometimes called 'carnal-minded, babes in Christ,' are blessed in this great trouble; for, though the love of Christ does not constrain them to entire consecration because of the great strength of the world and self, yet, when put into this 'furnace' of trouble, the miserable dross will be eliminated, their eyes relieved of worldly blindness and anointed with truth that they may truly see; their garments, too, which have become so torn that 'the shame of their nakedness appears;' and, spotted by the flesh and soiled by contact with the world, these, with much anguish and pain, shall, during this 'day of wrath, wash their robes and make them white in the blood of the Lamb,' and 'the Lamb in the throne shall feed them.'.. It is then, while the 'little flock,' the 'Bride,' the 'overcoming church,' is thus enthroned with Jesus, and while she is inflicting the judgments written, and while the other class of Christians in the Church, the carnal-minded ones, left in the world are 'washing their robes,' that the Lamb feeds them with truth, and leads them (some quickly, others more slowly) unto living fountains of water, bringing, finally, as many as will be led to the heavenly condition, beyond all tears, pain and sorrow, receiving them into his eternal home; and so we see them ((snip since we see them))"
This was from page 1 of the fourth Watchtower magazine of '79 (Vol. I, No. 4). And there are nearly a dozen further references to this exalted class in the following dozen years. The Watchtower, rather like the Universe, is stranger than most can believe. But then, only to the exalted is revealed the Mystery of God.

and practise washing your robes (as specified in the quote above) in accordance with God's loving commandments while we are still enmeshed in this wicked system of things, before the holocaust of Har-Mageddonandon is upon us.
I HAVE RUN OUT OF POSTING QUOTA, SO... I AM EDITING TO ANSWER AZTEC'S POST BELOW
Sorry, Aztec: three strikes and you are out.
"TIME IN THE SATISFACTION OF JUSTICE.
Let us inquire respecting the time of the satisfaction of Justice. Was Justice satisfied when the Lord left the glory which he had with the Father and was born a babe? No! Was it satisfied when he reached manhood's estate and had presented himself, the man Christ Jesus, at the time of his baptism, consecrating his life? No! for although the Father there accepted the sacrifice, and evidenced the acceptance by the giving of the holy Spirit, the sacrifice itself was not yet complete. Was Justice satisfied at the close of the three and a half years' ministry, when on the cross he cried, 'It is finished?' No! Satisfaction was not yet accomplished, though the means of satisfaction was now in our Lord's hands. Was satisfaction of Justice accomplished when our Lord ascended up on high and appeared in the presence of God for us? Yes, we answer. Justice was satisfied so far as the 'us' class was concerned, but not beyond the 'us,' the believers, the 'household of faith.' As already shown the curse still rests upon the world, which is still declared of the Lord to be under 'condemnation.' Does the sacrifice of the Lord's people throughout this age down to the present time satisfy Justice? No! All the members of the body of Christ are counted in as one, and the sacrificing of the body members is not yet completed. Will Justice be satisfied when the last member of the Church shall have suffered as a member of the body of Christ? No! it will still be necessary for the 'Head,' after having supervised the sacrifice, to present the 'members'-to present before the Father the evidence that these adopted members followed in his steps, completed their consecration even unto death faithfully. Thus he will present us before the Father 'blameless,' 'irreproachable.' ('Phil. 2:15'.) Then the merit of this adopted portion of our Lord's sacrifice will be presented on behalf of the world, and, as shown us in the type, the Father is sure to accept it and to grant the full blessing, which will mean the rolling away, in every sense, of the sentence, the curse now resting upon the race.-'Col. 1:26,27'. - Zion's Watchtower, Vol. XXVII No. 2, January 15, '06, AND a half dozen other places spread over a decade.
The Society sure is crazy, ain't it? Cya, Aztec! I was only kidding with you: yep, I just might be a little bit more anti-WTS than I first appear..
