  i was wondering what a jw could say to a person who doesn't care about "serving jehovah.

  " the person could ask, "so what if i don't serve jehovah?

  " if i understand jw belief correctly, they will say, "then you'll cease to exist.

  All kidding aside, I don't think anyone but the most fundamental orthodox Christians believe that babies go to hell. I think that most Christians would allow for God's grace to provide for a baby that was not of an age to make a choice. Since the scriptures are silent on this, I agree with XJW4EVR that we should remain that way as well.

  The Star of Bethlehem...very interesting

  i just saw a dvd on the possible scientific explanation for the star of bethlehem and found it quite interesting.

  though it is a pro-christian viewpoint, i think the explanations use science and chronology to come to this explanation of whether the star was fact or fiction.

  what is the wt's stance on dubs visiting historic churches?

  i drives me crazy when jw's go on tours of historic churches, the vatican, or mosques .

  they go in the church take pics, and oooo and ahhhhh over the buildings.. why the f_ _ _k are they expressing awe and wonder at what they believe to be satan's world headquarters .. don't they know jehovah is soon about to destroy all these architectural wonders.. jw relative has just come back from visiting the vatican.. stupid cult aaahhh !!.
