Based on the subtitles, this "WT representative" has a number of outs:
1) They can freely leave (though DF'ed)
2) They can freely return (after a minimum of one year of groveling)
3) They aren't shunned (they are encouraged to return to their senses!)
It's all in the spin...that is what PR is all about!!

Why do Christian nations think they can assimilate Muslims into their communities , does Islam attempt to assimilate Christians in their communities ?
by smiddy inislam /muslims today are what christianity was centuries ago , the two beleif systems are like oil and water , not to be mixed .
christians are not tolerated spreading their infectious disease amongst muslims, in islamic countrys , and harsh penalties apply for them doing so in muslim countries , including the death penalty.
stonings , whippings etc.. on the other hand christian nations are very tolerant of muslim extremists who incite hatred and violence on their own territory , and they get a slap on the wrist and say dont do it again .

Something to consider...in Islamic countries, Christians can convert to Islam by just gone to a Sharia court and declare their conversion. Muslims who convert to Christianity (or Judaism) are condemned to deat by those same courts in those countries. I don't know of any "Christian" countries where those converting to Islam are sentenced to death for their conversion...

Unfortunately, it is not against the law to be mentally ill...police can not take action against an individual who has mental illness unless they present an immediate danger to themselves or others...that's the law. When police interviewed him earlier, he was polite, cogent and appeared "normal". Guns are not what caused this tragedy, it is the failed system of dealing with and treating mental illness. We can not expect the police to solve the problems that afflict these people...they need treatment by professional mental healthcare workers. Every time an incident like this occurs, we wring our hands, gnash our teeth and call for the ban of guns. How about we finally act on the root cause of these issues, and allocate adequate funds to treat these ill people and protect the public from these outbursts?

many conscientious ones among jehovah's people today have wondered if christians should honor dead people on memorial day, in view of the fact that evidently jehovah judged them worthy of death.. first let us consider what most scholars agree is the original greek for the term "memorial day", meaning literally "a contemporary holiday to honor those who died by the sword.

I thought it was badly dumbed down when I was in, but this incredibly simple. It is amazing that those "intelligent" ones currently in don't get ill seeing where the WT has gone. I guess it is like the frog in the slowly heating pot of water...they are boiling to death so slowly, they don't even notice!

Good point all...intelligence has never been a prerequisite for being a JW!
The WTS must really be in a quandry about the magazines...for a publishing company, it has to be painful to see the printed word withering away. By being pushed in to the digital age, it becomes a huge management problem to use this type of media while trying to keep JW's away from "apostate" sites!
