  if woman are the weaker ones(for lack of better words) why is it that they seem to be the ones that mostly believe before their husbands?????

  Would there be a backlash if the Blood Ban was lifted?

  would there be a backlash from current jws if the blood transfusion ban was lifted and made completely a conscience matter?.

  i suspect, that only those who had lost a close relative would be bothered.

  the others would just be relieved that they didn't have to worry about this traumatic issue anymore and they would carry on as ususal.. so, what is it, except for fear of legal action, that is stopping the ban being lifted?

  can i ask a ? im not a witness but a witness told me that hardly anyone dies as plasma etc is avaliable but from what im reading in here it doesnt seem to be true

  im only an interested one at the moment but as i surf around the net i keep seeing sites talking about false prophesies from the witnesses (dooms day etc) id like an unbiased opinion as to where i can get more info as the witnesses here in new zealand tell me they have never heard of them, thanks?

  i am so glad ive found this site, ive always had doubts and was feeling rather guilty about never attending a meeting (although i did go to one with an ex's mother about 20 years ago, i was 17 and remember them all smiling at me like robots)as ive been reading and talking but not really studying for 5 or 6 years now , i find it totally boring except for the book gods word or mans which i just cant seem to forget, had a witness show up last week while i was sipping my beer with a smoke and i said to him why would i want live forever praying day after day after day when i could just enjoy what ive got now and then die?

  but if there is no monetary gain from jw's then what would they have to gain from you? from what i have learnt so far a cult means worshipping a leader which i dont see as true
